Could someone explain the RP idea?

Ok, before I start, just wanted to say, I'm very very sorry this is so late, I've been on a trip and haven't been able to work on it, buuuut... here is Alexandra's picturing!

Deep down at the bottom of the jungle, it wasn't dark. On the contrary, light was shining from all over. The inky black, starry night sky peeked throught the wide rainforest leaves, and a full moon cast it's soft beams on to their thick green stems, but that was not the source of the light. Colourful glass orbs danced on swaying branches, hanging by a length of twine tied around the top. A small playful flame glimmered in each one, emitting a soft glow upon the dirt floor, and if you were to look up at the canopy of the trees you would see that the were hung up there as well, all over the area for that matter, faintly illuminating the towering darkened trees. Rope bridges criss-crossed between them, which moved ever so slightly in the breeze, or maybe it was because someone had just crossed a few of them and come to rest in one of the treehouses lighted by candles that served as the connectors for the bridges. Fireflies wove in and out of the trees and alighted on people's fingers as they gazed, entranced at them. Talking in hushed but happy voices, the people of the tree village gathered in treehouses filled with hammocks and pillows, as they waited. Outside the excited treehouses a girl named Alexandra nimbly scaled the rope ladder at the bottom of the tallest tree. Her name in the tribe was Siam'Itap, meaning quick-flame, which described her perfectly - running lightly through the treetops, her long red hair streaming behind her, that's exactly what she looked like. A scarlet macaw flew above her, and came to rest on her shoulder as she came to a halt infront of the largest of the treehouses. The leader of the tribe stepped forwards. "Congratulations," he said in the tribe's native tongue, "You have finished your training. We welcome you now as a full member of the Illancikaa tribe." The macaw dropped a bright red feather into her hand as Alexandra was fully welcomed into her tribe.
