1. Boil water at some specific temperature

2. Pour water into teapot

3. Place teabag into strainer and place strainer in teapot.

4. Drink tea after water has that nice, amber color.

Note: I do not understand what you mean by the proper way. I assume after step 3 you add a few spices to the mix and stir it around . . . but, my mom just likes putting honey in it...

To Admin: lol I like good grammar, too. It must be because we're all writers here (and maybe with the aid of spell-check).

P.S. to Phantom N. There is no correct way in doing something. There is just many ways on how not to do it (I got that quote from National Treasure as Ben Gates quoted Thomas Alva Edison, so it's a double quote!)  :D

To me, lol theres no correct way in making food, it's just different opinions . . . some having the same opinion as many, which to me, often gets confused of what's right and wrong.

Of course I'm not a cook so you can ignore me if youd like.

I'm just really glad it's changed because I had, like, a silent grudge against this thread even though I knew it was a mistake I'm sorry it just bothered me so much I never went on the thread.
