DON'T DIE ON ME.

Ender's the only one in his area who actually knows what's going on, and the plague's much worse there. But everyone thinks he's an absolute idiot. Also, disregard the bit about a Metagross in his character sheet. Supposed to be a Noivern.

Tapping a button on my goggles, I call Professor Birch. 

"Birch! Thank goodness you picked up! My theory of the Shadow Phenomenon being caused by Giratina was correct- AARGH!" 

A massive, shadowy Aggron had just crashed through the wall. 

"Gengar! Reuniclus! Pikachu! Handle this." 

I hurled three Poke Balls into the air, releasing my Pokemon, who jumped on the Aggron. 

"Darnit! Birch! The transmission's breaking up-" 

The Aggron slammed to the ground, stunned. 

"Noivern!" 

Returning my other Pokemon, I hopped on Noivern's back. I had a long flight to Birch's lab ahead of me.

YES! I know so much about the Hoenn region! Manga lovers unite!

Also, Christie has a Marill. I forgot. But she's her least favorite.

Christie~

I'm not like most Pokémon trainers.

For one thing, I don't like capturing new Pokémon. For another, I barely ever put my Pokémon in a Pokéball. Mostly because they hate it.

Like now, for instance. I'm riding on Rapidash-- yes, riding-- with Growlithe loping beside us. Infernape is a bit further ahead, swinging through trees ajacent to the path we're riding on. And Blaziken is in a Pokéball-- just because he had just been battling, and he wanted a rest.

The road is dusty and completely empty, which is lucky. If it wasn't, I would have been thrown off Rapidash long ago. But because there's no one to compete with, she remains slow, at least for her standards.

Up ahead, I can see a familiar flickering. Pulling out the rare Pokéball, I release Marill, jumping off Rapidash and giving her permission to run.

Marill knows what to do. Infernape's fire vanishes quickly, and soon all three Pokémon are coming back to me.

Racing, of course.

I've been flying on Noivern for a long time. Too long. The Soundwave Pokemon begins to veer downwards. "Not now, not now! We're sixty miles away from Birch's lab!" But there's nothing I can do. Noivern continues to descending, at an all-too-fast rate of speed. "BRACE FOR IMPACT!" I see a lone Trainer on a Rapidash. "NOT GOOD! NOT GOOD AT ALLLLLL!" I smash into the road directly in front of her. "Please... don't... run... me... over..." I can barely croak out. 

I would join, but everybody took my favorite Pokémon and I don't want to be accused of cheating.

Serina~

I send Professor Birch a message telling my find, then continue through the jungle. I reach a clearing soon, dim sunlight filtering through a canopy of leaves. A Seedot is standing in the middle of it. A dark shadow- strangely moving towards it- creeps up and enfolds the Seedot. A flash of black shadow covers it and when it fades away, the Seedot has a black top and purplish grey body. Like the Treeko, it has coils of smoke and shadow coming off of it. Also like the Treeko, it spins confusedly and collapses. I catch it and store it in my bag. This is strange. Very strange. I trek on and reach a larger clearing. A trainer on a Rapidash is on a road running through the clearing and another trainer on a Noivern is about to crash into her. The Rapidash rears in panic, and speeds away. The Noivern crashes into the road a foot away. I rush over. "What's going on? Is everyone okay?" I call. The trainers nod dazedly. "I'm Serina," I offer. "Christie," says the Rapidash trainer. "Ender," says the Noivern trainer. I help them to their feet. After they seen to have recovered, I tell them, "I'm a Pokémon researcher. I work for Professor Birch. I found the strangest thing just now."

"What?" Christie asks.

"Let me show you." I answer. I take out the Treeko and Seedot Pokeballs. I release them. "Isn't this weird?" I ask.

Ender mutters, "I knew it."

Hacker, what I meant is that the plague hasn't gotten that bad by "in the future". Does that make sense? It's just a couple Pokémon here, a plant there... Not like chaos in the streets and trainers aren't affected yet. And none of us get affected.

I know the most about the Honenn region so . . . I'm digging through my cards as we speak (or type).

Name: Kym her real name is Kimberly, but that is a closely guarded secret.

Appearance: short for her age, wears jeans and a light green jacket white Pokémon shirt underneath, and her bag and bike are personalized with  her manga art 

Age: 13

Pokémon owned: Ryhdon (Rhys), Flareon (Flame), Kangaskhan (Kiro), Cyndaquil (Spark), Larvitar (Grasshopper), and (what is the evolution of the wingull?)(Wind)

Personality: Doesn't like hanging out with humans unless it is to battle then with Pokémon, loves catching Pokémon, is a frequenter at the Safari zoo, and travels around a lot with her Pokémon in the Honenn region

Other: her wingull evolution knows how to fly 

The only reason there's chaos is because a few Aggron in Ender's area got affected and went on a rampage, then organized crime took responsibility.

Brushing the dirt off my suit, I took a close look at the strange Pokemon. "Blast, my glasses aren't working. Darn Key Chip acting up!"

The Pokemon was acting strange. It wobbled around before tripping over its tail and passing out. "We need to get this little guy to Birch's lab, pronto. Precisely what I saw in my city. Anyone have a quick mode of transport?" Then I looked over at the Rapidash. "Silly question. Let's hurry."  

Something I forgot to mention in the character sheet is that Ender's eyes are strange. Completely black with solid white pupils. It creeps out a lot of people.
