Chatterbox: Inkwell

The woman shrieked and lunged at the man, distended hair flying and nails bared as though she could claw out his eyes.

"Enough!" snarled the man in purple, grabbing her wrists and throwing her against the floor. "I grow tired of your games, Yysara. Who have you chosen? I know you have."

"Heroes!" the woman said, wild eyes growing regal and cold, clutching at the threads of dignity she had left, "Warriors from another world, come to free Sedirrealm!"

The purple-robed man barked a laugh. "I'm sure they'll be up to the task. How will they even come here? How will they defeat ME?!"

The world distorted and Yysara gasped as she found herself falling through a black void.

"I am the Lord Wizard!" hissed purple robes. "No one can match me!"

"They will save us," said the woman calmly as the world slowly came back into color and the sensation of falling stopped, "they will free our world from you!"

"Hey," Brookeira said to her friends, running up through the aisles of the Dragonseye Game Emporium and rolling a twenty-sided die between her fingers, "up for a game of Magic and Mayhem?" 

So, if you want to be a character, just ask. No more than six mains and eight secondaries.

We're all normal (geeky) residents of a town in Ohio (I chose randomly) and are transorted to another world by a good sorceress named Yysara. We all play a fantasy board game called Magic and Mayhem. 

I will post weekly if I can, more or less. 

If you've played D&D, Magic and Mayhem is literally D&D.

Haven't played D&D?  It DOESN'T MATTER. You can still be in the story.
