Okay, I don't think I've really expressed my love of Ireland before, so I will do it now. Today, you can choose a creature/lifeform/belief/other from any myth and use it in an RP! Somehow they will all meet up, and, well, you know the drill.
Up to three charries per person, please. And no more than two of the same creature.

Name: Aiofe (Ee-fay)
Age: 11-12ish
Creature: Selkie
Appearance: Human: Black hair usually in a braid hanging down her back. Always, always, always wears a white coat with a hood. Slightly tall and skinny, sea green eyes. Seal: A small white seal with sea green eyes.
Personality: A shy and quiet person, the kind of kid who sneaks away from converstions and hides in a closet until it's time to go. Very loyal, however.
Creature backstory: (This is just in case someone doesn't know what creature your charrie is) A selkie is a creature that can change from woman to seal when they dive into the water with their coat on. A selkie cannot speak without her coat and she can't go without being a seal for too long.

Appearance: Dark brown hair, green eyes.
Personality: Quiet, wise, calm, collected.
Other: Has a fox-shapeshifter sister named Aine. (could someone rp Aine?)

Nanaue (shark shapeshifter from hawaiian folklore)
Male
Appearance: Black hair, grey eyes, tanned.
Persnality: Has a temper but is a pretty nice guy.
Other: Likes St. Owl's charrie.

Appearance: Fiery red hair, green eyes. Fair skin, average height.
Personality: The exact opposite of Ula. Harsh temper, sneaky, loves pranks. Doesn't make friends easily, and needs to know the person well in order to trust him/her.
Other: Ula's sister.

Creature: Pooka
Male
Appeareance: Human: Jet black hair, that spikes up. Burning red eyes, and pale skin. Black shirt adn pants. Pooka: Soo, pooka's can change into different animals, but to make it fair, I'm going to limit it to three. #1 A horse, red eyes, and black everything else. (This is the color scheme of a pooka.) #2 German Shepard, (dog) Red eyes, black everything. Red tounge, always no matter what. #3 Raven, red eyes. Oh and the true form will be reveled later.
Personality: Curious of how human ways work. Grouchy toward new people. Has an evil side, that you don't want to see. Can be kind, depending on the person and how they treat him. Wise, sometimes. Mostly reckless, and mischevious. Loyal to the end.
Creature backstory: A pooka is like a devil spawn, and can shapeshift, including humans. Their true shapes are usually unknown until they carry you off. They like to reek havoc on farms and houses. They attack at night. One some unsuspecting houses, the pooka will call the people by their names, (which they always know somehow) and if they come out, the Pokka will carry them off. Pooka's are mostly known for the havor they bring, but you can befriend one. It all depends on how you treat it, and if you have anything to offer it. Pooka's are very loyal, and will help with work and favors if you are their friend.
Other: Go Ireland! Go Irish! I'm part Irish too, and plus my last name is Green.

Creature: Siren
Female
Appearence: Long brown hair, dark grey blue eyes like stone marble. Her nails are like mood rings, so they change with her emotions. Yellow when she's happy. She wears a black jacket, white blouse, and blue jeans.
Personality: She's really bipolar, meaning her moods change constantly. She doesn't harm humans, but likes to lure them for fun. In extreme occasions she will use her voice to hurt someone if she has to. Shy, and doesn't like to talk much. She's more talkative with close friends. Loves to sing!
Creature backstory: She can lure people with her voice. It's hypnotic. She can walk on water and control waves.

Name: Reyner Blackbeak
Age: 13
Creature: Berserker
Appearance: Tall and skinny. he wears a ratty shirt with a leather jacket. He carries his battle ax with him everywhere in a sheath on his back.
Personality: Funny, loves to play tricks. He has rather a temper. (Complete understatement)
CReature background: Berserkers are Norse soldiers who (In the heat of battle) can lose there tempers and undergo a trance-like transformation into bears, wolves, etc. This helps them n combat. Reyner can turn into a troll. (I'm not sure berserkers could turn into mythical creatures, but mine can. If that's OK with you, St. Owl)

This sounds fun! Though I may not type as much since I'm already in 4-5 other RPs, but I can't resist. One, because I am Irish (my family crest is, that is), and two, I LOVE MYTHS! Here's my charrie.
Name: Aideen (ay-deen)
Age: 140. She looks 14 though.
Creature: Leprechan!!! What? Since everyone's doing Irish, I thought I'd do the most well known.
Appearance: 4 inches tall, frizzy red hair, green eyes, LOTS of freckles! Wears a white shirt with a green jacket, dark green skirt, white tights, black shoes, green top hat.
Personality: Snarky, quick, cunning, mischivious. She's not greedy, but whenever she sees gold, she goes Gollum. You know, My precioussssss......... Really lucky.
Creature backstory: They create mischief, they are associated with luck, and they hide gold at the end of the rainbow. You know how it goes.
Other: I made this part up, but leprechans can grow to the size of the average human, or their original size.

I'm going to do Hawaiian characters, because I live in Hawaii.
Name: Kamo'onui (pronunciation: Kuh-moh-oh-noo-ee) (definition: the big mo'o (gecko)).
Age: unknown, but appears as a young girl in her teens.
Type: Mo'o shape shifter, turns into a giant mo'o.
Appearance: long black hair, bright, orange eyes, skinny.
Personality: shy, hides in the shadows, tricky, likes to talk in riddles, doesn't have many friends, often quietly hums or sings Hawaiian songs and chants to herself, and sometimes writes and speaks in Hawaiian, so the others don't under stand her (except Micheal, of course).
Backstory: I'll figure it out as we go along. ;)
Other: has a strange birth mark right over her heart, won't show anybody.

Can my charries be evil?
Scylla
Age: I don't know. Really, really old.
Creature: Scylla. :|
Appearance: (I couldn't find an accurate description so I romanticized my own.) Sea monsterish, clinging to the rocks with suction cups, and twelve hideous devoting heads with three rows of teeth and yellow eyes. She has dark gray skin the color of the rocks.
Personality: Volatile and ravenous. She is vengeful and cruel, but is secretly lonely. She will eat six sailors off a boat when one passes in range. But it's that or her partner Charybdis...
Creature backstory: She is a monster in the Strait of Messina. Across the Strait is Charybdis, a monster that sits on the bottom of the sea and creates whirlpools that can suck entire ships inside. If a ship goes out of range of Charybdis, she will be in range of Scylla to eat six crewmen off a boat.
Other: She is from the Greek myths, you know, like Odyssey.

Age: Again, really old but that's about all anyone knows.
Creature: Charybdis. :|
Appearance: Some picture her as jus a whirlpool, big other than that there were no descriptions, and I can't get her out of my head as a giant blue teddy bear with a black hole (not the astronomical thing, I mean a hole that is black) for a face. So let's go with that...
Personality: Loyal servant to Posiedon, and very hungry. She drinks seawater to quench her thirst.
Creature backstory: She swallows seawater thrice a day, and then she spits it back out, creating whirlpools that suck in ships. She is a creature in the Strait of Messina, and if ships avoid the range of the ravenous Scylla, they are sucked into her hungering belly instead.
Other: She is also from Odyssey.

Chryptis is a teddy bear?! Wow.... I would imagine it more like a gigantic lamprey.
Okay, all of the creatures that aren't gigantic twelve-headed monsters that are rooted to the spot (okay, just joking, any creatures that can hide that they're creatures) lead "normal" lives -- you know, go to school, have a job, etc.

"Bye, dad," I say, hugging him tight.
"Have fun at school," he replies. "Don't talk to strangers besides your teachers. Be careful. Don't give any personal information away."
"I won't, dad."
I walk away from the lighthouse that is my home and dive into the sea, swimming through it as a seal until I reach the mainland. School is only a few blocks away.
Okay, middle school. Be ready to be rocked.
