I am going to sound really... strange but what is steampunk? I have never heard of it. (Yeah, where have I been my whole life: answer, not on the chatterbox until now). Is it possible to create a made-up land that includes fantasy-like castles and steampunk-like whatever?

Steampunk uses gears to run their world, no electricity. It's all wound up around clocks and such. In steampunk, you do EVERYTHING with gears. Oh, and you use steam and coal for everything, too.

Hm.... Yes, I think you can! The fantasy-like castles would have gold and queens and kings, but there would have to include mechanics such as...

-Some kind of robot servant things made out of gears

-LOTS AND LOTS OF CLOCKS

-MORE CLOCKS

-Some fancy coal powered machines

-etc.

-etc.

How about in this place, there are humans, elves and werecats?

So, this isn't exactly fantasy, just three diffrent kind of people.

However, no one can cast spells or anything like that.

Does this sound alright? Is it good?

Yes, a made-up land with castles, forrests, humans, elves, (I don't know about where-cats...), as well as cities with clocks and secret gaves filled with um... gears and stuff.

We can just have humans and elves,

ln a steampunk-y world.
