The CBers walked into the dining room. There was a dark wood table with a cream-colored tablecloth draped over it. 12 chairs were arranged around it. BHR sat down. Teresa sat on one side of her. Misti sat down across from Teresa and Indigo sat down across from BHR. Air sat next to Indigo. Nixa sat on the other side of BHR. S.E. sat next to Misti and Danie sat next to S.E. Brookeira sat down next to Danie. Hacker Dee sat next to Nixa and Shadow Dragon sat next to Hacker Dee. Alton Brown came out of the kitchen, carrying a plate with a grilled cheese sandwich on it. He put it down in front of Danie and went back into the kitchen. Cayke came out carrying some pizza, which she distrubited evenly. They continued like that until everyone had their food. Cayke shooed Alton back to the kitchen to clean up and sat down in front of a huge pie. BHR, Teresa and Indigo clasped hands to pray. Cayke bent over her food. After the religious people finished, everyone dug in. 

Indigo sampled some of Danie's potato chips and some of Misti's shrimp to see which was better then decided HER meal was still the best. 

Nixa, S.E. and Air talked programming.

Brookeira and Danie discussed the merits of various food.

And then the Juice began to take effect. It hit Brookeira first. She split into two identical Brookeiras, but then one of them turned into Masked Piester. MP grabbed Cayke's pie and slammed it into Misti's face then teleported behind BHR. MP poked BHR. BHR decked her. "Sorry, pure reflex," BHR said. "Don't poke me."

The Juice took effect on Danie next. Danie split into two Danies. One turned into a shortish blond haired gray-eyed boy.

But the Juice wasn't done with Brookeira. Brookeira split again, this time her second Brookeira turned into Baelfire. Baelfire stuttered something as MP slammed a pie into Squeak's face. 

Shadow Dragon split, her second Shadow Dragon turning into Silvery Ink. Then she turned into a dragon. Shadow Dragon roared and singed BHR's hair. The fire was coming towards Indigo.

Indigo saw the fire coming towards her, but it didn't hurt, washing around her gently instead. She moved her hand and it separated from Shadow Dragon's mouth and curled up in a tight ball inside her fist.

Misti split into three. One turned into a brain on legs and the other into a girl with dark gray, ash-like eyes, brown hair and a strong build. Brain ran after Pikachu (Pikachu squeaked, "PIKACHU!!" as though terrified) and Axis started fighting MP.

With growing frustration, BHR watched as chaos ensued. Finally her rage built until she screamed for silence. Silence did come, but not because she screamed. Because all the CBers, even Teresa, who hadn't yet been affected by the Juice in any noticable way, were lying prone on the floor. Groggily Indigo sat up. "I think you're an Inflictor, BHR," she groaned, then fell back in a dead faint.

Tip: I am not a girl. I read the post and saw that.

Air's ZA notes, entry 3 (or 4? I think time-traveling messed them up)

I teleported with Hacker Dee and the people in the high school back from Portland. Alton and Cayke got us food. I ate with Nixa and S.E., talking about tech and programming. Nixa's futuristic view of virtual reality is scary, but it's interesting how well she knows how to integrate into life today, in the ZA. 

Suddenly, I hear a splat: there are... two Brookeiras? Masked Piester? Cayke's looking suprised, Misti has pie on her face. Danie... Squeak? Is that Squeak? Brookeira's splitting again... Shadow is a moth? A dragon? Fire blazes through the room, and I dive under the table.

BHR spent a bit of time laughing, then went and got Mr. Evanson. He spread them all out on various couches and shook them awake. There was some shouting at BHR, a few congratulations to BHR, more than a few pies in the face, and some more singed hair. Mr. Evanson shouted, "Do you want BHR to deck you again?" which shut everyone up. 

"Okay, so I've been thinking," Mr. Evanson said in the newly forged silence.

"You have?" Squeak gasped. "WOW! You must be so smart to think!"

Masked Piester pied him and he was successfully shushed.

"I think there should be squads. A Search-and-Rescue team, maybe more than one, a team to persaude the other countries besides the US to help fight zombies, and a techy group to try to find an antidote or the cause."

The CBers were all nodding, so he said, "Okay, who'll be in search and rescue?"

Shadow Dragon, BHR, Brookeira, Misti, Masked Piester, Baelfire, Axis, Cayke and Nixa all raised their hands.

"Tech group?"

Air, Hacker Dee, Danie, S.E. and Squeak raised their hands.

"Debate group?"

Teresa and Indigo raised their hands.

Mr. Evanson said, "How about Teresa and Indigo work with Micheal Farris in the Yellow Room, the Search and Rescue Squad work on fitness and technique in the gym, and Air, Hacker Dee, Danie and the rest of the Tech Group work in the Lab?"

They nodded and he explained the way to the various rooms.

Teresa knocked on the door to the Yellow Room gingerly. It was opened by a SS officer who looked considerably younger than the others, perhaps only just in their twenties. He ushered them in. There were five computers on desks around the room, maps hung on the walls, and books everywhere. Micheal Farris was sitting at one of the computers, a thick book open on his lap and a few slightly crumpled notebook pages spread out in front of him, typing furiously. He looked up when they came in. "Sit down, sit down. I need help with this, see, I know they'll say this but" . . .

The gym had a hundred different "simulations". Currently, the search and rescue squad was in the "City" simulation, with Officer J. Smith. J, has he asked to be called, was a huge fan of parkour, so he was teaching them how to do parkour and freerunning. He was giving them quite the workout just getting warmed up so they could do the basic stunts. Axis was quite taking to it, but the rest of them were struggling, some more than others. 

Axis ran along the beam swiftly. Brookeira, Blonde Heroines Rule and Nixa followed, not so swiftly. The rest came behind them. Even though they were only a few feet in the air, it was surprising how easy it was to get scared.

Axis leapt off the beam and hit the gravel, rolling. J clapped. "Perfect!" BHR did the roll almost perfectly, but it was slightly lopsided. Brookeira's roll was too slow, and Nixa bumped Brookeira.

Axis was already running along, her long, loping stride carrying her easily.

Everyone else sprinted after her.

Two and a half hours later, J sent everyone except Axis off to the next session, which was Helicopter Flying. Axis spent another half hour there. As Axis started to go, J said she would be getting longer Freerunning sessions because of her skill.

Amelia Earhart clearly thought BHR was a natural. She said that Shadow Dragoni had potential, and BHR was already on her way to being a master. She sent everyone off to the next session earlier than Shadow Dragon and Blonde Heroines Rule.

Teresa was on the fifteenth page of the slide show for why England should help the US when the loudspeaker made a hissing noise. A voice said, "Clean up your work. You have some free time before dinner." Indigo closed Google Docs (She was only on the seventh page of her speech on why Ireland should help the US) and they both left.

Danie, S.E., Squeak, Masked Piester and Misti were playing video games. 

Indigo was watching TV with Shadow Dragon and Axis.

Nixa was reading Harry Potter. ("This 'wand'- it is a joystick for world? Makes world do things?")

Blonde Heroines Rule was taking a long, relaxing bath.

Teresa was writing on her blog.

Air was writing in her diary.

Brookeira was trying to teach Icy tricks.

Hacker Dee was trying to make Pikachu and Brain get along.

Masked Piester was holed up somewhere concotting a special new kind of pie.

Baelfire was taking online speech lessons.

Cayke was in the kitchen, making Breakfast for Dinner.

Air's ZA notes, entry 5

My entry numbers are back to normal after I spent enough time in the lab with all the atomic clocks. I've got to give the SS credit for their tech! 

Hacker Dee, Danie, S.E., and Squeak are with me in the computer lab. We've all been assigned together to the "tech team". I have to say I don't know any of them too well... expecially Hacker Dee and Dee Dee, who was brought along to the lab and is cuddling in a nest of old tangled wires, sparking happily. Awwww....
