Basically, this is a book about a friendship between a dude and girl. It's called My 14th Year with Rose.

CHARACTERS: Rose, a vegitarian partial-tomboy, who is Bahai'i (it's a religion), Jack, a non-athletic guy who is "writing the story," Nathan, a dude who plays a big part in the story, and, basically, that's it.

I've known Rose as long as I can remember. My mom told me a while ago that we became friends in preschool-- we met each other and have been friends since.

My name's Jack. Right now I'm 17-- I met Rose when I was 3, so my 14th year with her is now. Well, WAS then, is what I mean...

This is my book. My journal, I mean. Everything in it is true-- I documented it like that.

Do you guys (and girls, for people that are sometimes offended by that....) like it???? Please respond-- I need some encouragement from fellow book-lovers!!!!!

What you have so far sounds like a good prologue or introduction. It would be easier to critique if there was more of the story, so maybe you can post a bit more? You're off to a good start!

I am FRUSTRATED. I just typed a really long paragraph to all of you anxious readers out there. And I clicked a wrong button. and I can't get all of my words back. Please excuse me while I pace, angrily.... *pacing, venting frustration out loud, etc*
