James Benjamin Endricks sat on the window seat of the Steamship, the best flying ship service in the province of Geartwist. He was escaping the serviceship that he was bound to. He would become a clock maker. He had adopted a new identity: JBE.

A girl woke up two miles outside of Geartwist. She searched in the depths of her mind for her past, but found nothing. She adopted a new name: Somebody. She set out search for her memories.

Brookeira, the top student at GATS (Geartwist Amazingly Talented School) was about to recieve the job that best fit her skills. She hoped to become the city's librarian.

JBE had dreams of escaping his past and becoming a mechanic.

Somebody was lulled by the chime of the clock.

Brookeira hoped to work as a librarian, which would mean she lived under the huge clock.

All of them would find the secret of why the clock had been built...
