Jerod~

Araxie and I charged hand in hand through the collapsing halls. Walls collide behind us, barely missing our heads.

The double doors at the front of our halls stood nearly barricaded.

Suddenly, a chunk of collapsed wall slammed into my right cheekbone. Unbearable pain swelled through my face, and black spots began to appear in my eyes.

"Araxie," I moaned, "I can't-"

I stumbled over a pile of rumble.

Araxie wheeled, grabbed my leg, and I could feel her dragging me on the ground towards the exit.

Struggling to stand, a balanced on her to escape the building.

"Jump!" She yelled.

I jumped as hard as I could, and the next thing I knew I was falling upon the grass outside Hogwarts.

Professor Malfoy ( I thought it might be funny if Draco was in his twenties and taught potions or something) rushed up to us, "Look, a Ravenclaw dragging a Slytherin boy. This day just keeps getting weirder. Hurry now, we need to get Jerod back with our other survivors.

The Draco Malfoy thing was my idea too!! 

Wouldn't it be funny if the rest of us evacuated and thought Jerod and Araxie were dead? Then would be interesting...

Heidi

I race towards Gryfindor tower, only to remeber that the staircase is crumpling. I feel a sharp pain in my chest as I realize that most of the stairway is gone. Jerod, Araxie, Mackie... their gone! I then do something completely against my nature. Instead of freezing or running away, I run right towards the stair case. Proffesor Mcgonagall is leading the Gryfindors out of the castle. 

"Heidi," She says briskly, "Come with us!" 

"But..."

Profesor Mcgonagall pulls me into line and we march fearfully out of the castle. When we arrive outside, she gestures us to the horsless carrieges waiting for us. I begin to climb in one, but the heads of the houses start talking right where I can overhear them.

"We are missing one; Mackie," I hear Professor Mcgonagal say. All of the sudden, I am picked up from behind.

"HEIDI!!! ARE YOU OK? ARE YOU HURT???" Aisling yells in my ear. I think she is crying.

"I'm fine, Aisling." I feel the tears well up in my chest and drip out my eyes.

"It's OK," Aisling says soothingly. "We made it."

But Jerod, Araxie and Mackie didn't. I think, and I cry harder. I finally pull myself out Aisling's long black hair, and climb in the carriage. I search the crowds of wizards for Ivy, but I don't see her. The pain in my chest tightens. 

"We are sending the first few carriages to Hogsmeade, now!" a voice calls over the commotion.  

Ivy~
After checking all of the common room, I can tell everyone's evacuated. I run out of the room and into the hallway.

It's completely deserted. I check my watch. Fifteen minutes. We're both late.

I sit down on a chunk of rock to wait. After three minutes, I get worried.

Five more minutes, then I leave, I think to myself.

Four minutes later, I hear the carriges.

I dash through the maze of hallways, trying to get to the exit. Come on, come on, you can't let them lose you...

I reach a main hallway, and there I see two other people-- a Gryffindor girl towing a Slytherin boy by the leg.

"Hey! Over here!" I call, waving. She nods in my direction.

"Let me give you a hand," I continue, and together we haul the unconcious boy towards the entrance.

I have two plot ideas from here: either we get trapped in the Hogwarts grounds, or we get attacked by the dragon. (or both.)

But I heard that Neville taught herbs! Oh well.

St.Owl: ARAXIE IS RAVENCLAW. NOT. GRYFFINDOR.

Araxie:

"Hey!" Gryffindor girl!"

A girl sees me, but she obviously doesn't see I'm Ravenclaw. "I am Ravenclaw!" I yell, trying to sound calm.

"Oh, sorry," she says.

Suddenly Jerod stirs. I lean over him. "J-Jerod?" I ask, scared. He looks hurt. I try to keep my voice calm, but I'm really worried.

I hug him. He jolts awake.
