Hopefully this character will give you some inspiration! You are welcome to change her in any way!

1. Name: Gerry (girl) Tri (pronounced "tree" with a slight trill on the R)

2. Appearence: Dull, thick red-brown hair that falls a little past her shoulders. Also rather dull dark green eyes. Usually wears drab colors (not black). She is about average hight for her age (14? 15? around there I guess). She likes to wear a navy-green (is there such a thing?) jacket that is kind of stretched and slightly... bumby with zippers in odd places.

3. Personality: Does not talk much, she isn't shy, she just doesn't see the need to talk. Can be very defiant and disbelieving. She does not have very much self-confidence.

4. Background:

Her mom is a warrior, so she is often away fighting the Blood-scales, the Namurwca nickname for the Ogs. These are monsters with blood red scales. They have hair that looks like snakes, but are not alive, and have neither head nor tail, but their texture is like a snakes. They have flames for fingers. 

Gerry is a Namurwca (pronounced Nom er qua), which means swamp-people. Her father is often hunting for food. The "swamp" is sort of like a swamp here on earth. It is mostly a forrest, its trees have spanish moss (I love spanish moss), most of the ground is spongey, but sturdy. There is murky water flowing lazy all through the forrest.

5. Likes to climb trees and be alone.  

6. Dislikes being around other people a lot. She also does not like daiseys, salt water, or elves, who can be so anoying. Elves can only be found outside the swamp. 

7. Fantastical quirk or power: She can turn into a crocodile. I know, big deal. At least, that is what Gerry thinks. But she finds that crocodiles are much more than she ever imagined as she is swept away on the adventure of her life!
