I love the story! I am a writer as well. I write poetry, stories and other things. I once submitted a poem into a contest and I won! In second grade, my teacher in the beggining of the year she gave us all a notebook to draw and write stories in. I picked stories. I have been writing ever since. I am in fourth grade and I make up stories in my head even when I am in school! I love reading biographies of my favorite authors. What were you like when you were a kid? Were you like me?

Hi Charlie! I love writing stories too!

i actually started writing in... I don't know, third grade or so? 

But really, to be exact, I started 'writing' in kindergarten. I guess you could call it writing. I mean, I only thought of stories in my head, and then drew them on paper. My mom always said that it was a waste. Now, I say it was helpful.

I prefer drawing to writing. I guess it's because I can actually visualize it. Outside of my mind.

When I was young, I used to only like reading. I HATED writing. Don't judge.Tongue outBut in third grade, I got my voice. You know, you style in writing. And my writing picked up real fast. I enjoyed writing much more, and even won a award in a contest like you!
