I saw one of these a while ago, but it kinda got ruined by a chameleon. Don't ask. I wanted to start another one, so....
Here is the first sentence....
I leaned out on the prow of the boat, resting my hands on the engraved dragon's head, and stared out at the sun sinking beneath the horizon.

"Captain, the monster!Off the prow!" I hear someone shout as I glide through the depths.

I look from the monster, to the ship, which slowly begins to move into open sea.

Suddenly the serpent lunges away, toward someone falling off the edge of the ship. "Lysander!" I scream.

It is time to do something I have not done for many years; ORANGE, I concentrate on this one color, a ball of energy forming in my hands.

I then wave the ball around my legs, my orange tail appearing, then dive into the murky waters.

I draw power from the bubbles in the sea and hurl it at the monster, who disappears into an orange poof-bubble.

What if there were seven special mermaids called the rainbow mermaids, born with cool powers? Two of the mermaids, The Indigo (wink wink) and Violet mermaids have not been found or something. We can't give them unlimited power, so they will either have to have a weak spot, or they get really tired if the use to much power, How does that sound?
