"New" RP!!
Chatterbox: Inkwell
"New" RP!!
"New" RP!!
Okay, so I know there are quite a few new people on the CB, so if you consider yourself new, please join this RP! (Hope this will farmilurize you with the CB!!)
Here's my plot idea (We don't have to use it, it's just an idea):
These people are one of three 'classes': Creator, Destroyer or Loner.
Creators make new parts of the world and are very powerful (you could call them the "good" side, though not always...).
Destroyers are the Creators' enemies, doing exactly what the name sounds like (Destroying everything everywhere they go, often in an... explosive manner). They're also very powerful.
Loners are usally people with lack of magical powers. They're basicly not strong enough to create or destroy. They are also made up of creators and destroyers who just don't feel like fighting all the time. They are very important, though, because they keep the creators and destroyers in check.
Here's the form:
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Class:
Personality:
Appearance:
Other:
And here's mine:
Name: Piper
Age: Unknown to everybody (including Piper *laugh*) butin the late teenager range
Gender: Girl
Class: Transitioning from Loner to Destroyer. Oh! That's another thing! If loners gather enough magical power, they can become a creator/destroyer, but it's no easy task... (Piper's been working on it for about 8 years.)
Personality: Tough and unemotional, though rather overprotective of her very few friends. Mysterious and intelligent... most of the time.
Apperance: Coffee-colored skin, dark red hair and hazel eyes.
Other: Sees ghosts
Again, if you're new, please join! (If you're not new, also please join!)

Cool! Nice idea.
Okay, here's mine;
Name; Sara Willis
Age; eight. Almost nine, and won't let anyone forget it.
Gender; girl
Class; this one needs a bit of explanation . . . . She was born to two creators, but to her parents' shame, she has not chosen a group yet. Though always a bright girl, she later in the book turns destroyer- and an very evil one at that.
Personality; sunshine-y, outgoing, and popular despite her lack of choice (earlier in the book) and also her frowned upon (later in the book) creator backround. For those close to her, however, she is less ideal. Yappy, selfish, manipulative, and cruel, this girl is kind from the outside outside point of veiw kind and caring- quirky and sweet. But from the eyes of those close to her, she is a holy terror.
Appearance; yellow-y curly blond hair fastened often into pigtail-braids, deep, deep, round blue eyes, deep red pouty lips. Always wears floaty dresses with ribbons around the middle, and a silver locket (silver, in this world, (if that's okay, Little Sister ;)) is much more valuable than gold).
Other; if by that you mean other talents, then; decent sewer/embroiderer, and on the more supernatural bent, she can understand animals.(though not speak to them) She doesn't discover this until she leaves and becomes a Destroyer, however, because she despises animals. (She doesn't leave until she is thirteen. She is kidnapped by her uncle on her father's side, (Rok, pronounced Rook) who is a destroyer, for revenge over the fact that Sara's father stole Sara's mom from him. She is a bit more than he bargained for, and takes control instantly, showing a suprisingly dark and destructive side.
And another character;
Name; Robin Willis
Age; 16
Gender; female
Class; Loner, though with plenty of power. She left her family because of two reasons; one, she couldn't stand her groups ridiculous prejudice against destroyers. Her oppinion is that both sides are crucial to the circle of life. After leaving her parents, she visits her uncle and finds his group also unsatisfactory. So she became a loner. The second reason; (oops, looks like I got a bit sidetracked!) she despised her family's pressure towards her. She had both dissadvantages; she was the oldest, so she has all of the pressure, and also her sister, because of her fake charisma, is the favorite. Robin however has seen a much more violent, cruel, and downright terrifying side of Sara, though her parents have not, or perhaps will not, seen this.
Personality; the polar oppisite of her sister. She is dark and distant, and from far away appears to be emotionally cold. She does not speak often. Not in a shy way, but in a downright awkward way. She has a tendency to snap, though not violently. She goes on unexpected rants. She has a lot of strong oppinions that she never voices, meaning, she has a strong sense of self despite being quiet.
Apearence; extremely tangled (never combed. Ever.) hair almost to her shoulders. Big brown eyes.
Other; she is a very good survivalist, and fantastic at living off of the land. Weapons- bow and arrow, hunting knife, spear. She is a really good fighter. Extremely powerful Creator.
I am new. ;-)

(January 20, 2015 - 7:08 pm)
Name: Crystal Northtop
Age: 13
Gender: Female
Class: Creator, though she does take interest in the other classes from time to time.
Personality: Curious, quiet, intelligent, secretive, powerful, but more open to her close friends, though there aren't many.
Appearnce: Pale blonde hair, clear blue eyes, normally wears blue
Other: She likes to make it a secret what she creates, and is more often found reading a book then talking. She has been having strange dreams, but keeps them to herself. Normally.....
Duh duh DUH!
Anyways, I hope she isn't too...aloof for a Creator. I wanted to make someone who wasn't what others would expect.

Great! Cool idea for new people like me! I just joined about a week ago.
Name: Brent Yal
Age: 13
Gender: boy
Class: loner
Personality: Very competitive, kind ummm... methodical? Don't know the right word for this, doesn't get excited often, kind of does every day life as a checklist. When it comes to magic, he is not into it.
Appearance: kind of dark brown hair that he usually manages to keep smooth and in-place. Dark dark dark dark dark dark dark as-dark-as-you-can-get dark blue eyes. About average hight, a little on the tall side. He usually dresses simply with plain t-shirts, jean shorts, and nice tennis-shoes. He has a very fair complexion
Other: he knows about magic, the creators, and destroyers, but doesn't really care. He's just kind of... Normal-ish when we first begin...

Your highness, is this a coincidence, or do you have a cousin who's pen name is Rose bud on the Chatterbox? My cousin's middle name is Elizabeth, and we joked about her pen name being Queen Elizabeth.
(January 26, 2015 - 8:13 pm)
Oh! I'll join!

Appearance: tall and skinny. Long blonde hair always in a ponytail. Blue eyes.
Other: is a little crazy and can go into blank periods that last about 5 minutes. Also, her parents were a creator and a loner, so she's a half-breed.
(January 27, 2015 - 2:12 pm)

Sorry for being impatient, but are we starting soon?
(January 28, 2015 - 8:23 pm)
I'm wondering that too.
(January 31, 2015 - 2:13 pm)
I'm sorry, but it's been quite a few days, so I'm going to start.
Rose~
I'm bored. It's always fun making new stuff in the world, but everyone is figuring out the world is not flat, and because of that it isn't flat anymore, so we can't add a new part. Plus, every time we do the Destroyers will just destroy it. In fact, I think I have on tailing me. They might be the ones telling everyone the world is round. That just spoils everyone's fun.
Anyway, the valley I'm in could use a little sprucing up. It's just grasses and flowers, as far as the eye can see. We need something good there. My mind starts sketching the ideas: maybe a mirage in the backround... a beautiful snow-capped mountian vista. A few animals... rabbits and prairie hens, maybe. Something that will add life to it. And, of course, if we're adding life we must have insects. I wave my hand and it's much better.
There are friendly honey bees buzzing around the flowers, flying back to their nests at the side of the valley where there's a grove of trees. A snow-capped mountian is in the distance, looming beautifully, but not meanicingly, over the valley. There are butterflies and dragonflies flying around, along with rabbits bounding around, and I'm pretty sure those shifts in the grass are prairie hens. Much better.
Still, that's everday, boring work. Just for passing time. I want something great to do. But there isn't. So I'm bored.

They have done it. Somehow, the Destroyers maybe, the humans have discovered the world is round. So, now it is. Thus, my talents are reduced to small things, and the Wonders of the World (I just love the name the humans have given my creations) will have to stay at seven. Not that anyone knew it was me, anyway. Which was fine with me. But anyways, the humans will have to do without any big additions-there simply isn't room. But, I suppose, a new reading spot would be nice. A winding, twisting tree, with long roots and perhaps a few mushrooms...I envision it, and it's there. I sigh with contentment and plop down with my current book-it's about a girl who discovers instead of being round, the world is one of chains between worlds, in which there are certain spots where you can travel between...Humans really must stop this newfangled thinking. Soon we'll all be living in a world that's a triangle, or one that rotates every three seconds.
