Oh, by the way, if anybody who's character is a queen would like Skykit to be thier kit, go for it!

I nod my head, smiling.

"You're welcome. These rocks are pretty dangerous." I reply. SunStar calls for us, so we run back to her.

"We are almost there. Go scout out in front. I don't know this area very well," SunStar says to us.

I know this scene doesn't go with what you all are writing, but can they have set up a temporary camp for the kits, queens, and elders? If that' s ok with you guys.

Skykit~

"I don't wanna see the warriors den," I protested to my brother, Cliffkit. "I don't want to cause trouble."

Actually, it was just that I didn't want to see the warriors. They were scary, especially if they caught you. What I wanted to see was LeafFeather's den. The smell of herbs was intoxicating, and it drew me back every time I went out of the nursery. But Cliffkit said the medicine cats den was for cowardly cats.

"Come on," he insisted. His light gray fur with darker gray spots was bristling with excitement. "It's the warriors den. And Lightningtail is asleep, so it could be our only chance until we become paws, and four moons is too long to wait."

I nervously glanced at our mother, Lightningtail, who was snoring softly, her yellow fur so pale it was almost white going up and down softly.

"Where's BlueShine?" I asked.

Cliffkit bounced up and down, knowing he had won. "I don't know, but she won't be back for a while," he said. "Come on, Skykit."  

Skykit~

I reluctantly followed my brother out of the nursery, twitching at every little sound. Cliffkit made straight for the make-shift warriors den, while I gazed across at the den next to it where LeafFeather and Riversong were sorting herbs, talking quietly.

I felt bad for Riversong, losing contact with her original Clan, Moonclan. The medicine cats continued to work in harmony, sorting herbs with a deft paw. I caught a scent of herbs on the breeze -- rosemary, was it? Maybe catmint?

I was jolted out of my reverie by Cliffkit, who was nudging me. "You're not still gazing after that medicine cat den, are you? Medicine cats are cowards."

"They saved our father and mother's life more than once," I said quietly. It was the bravest thing I'd ever told Cliffkit.

"Yeah, well, they're still cowards," Cliffkit said. "Now let's go into the warriors den." He trotted in confidently, and I followed.

The den was dark and big. I shivered, while Cliffkit bounced aorund excitedly. "Wow!" he said joyfully. "This is so great! Isn't it, Skykit?"

"I guess," I said. 

Cliffkit kept prowling around and creeping, but then he stepped on some cat's tail. The cat was Rockfur, the biggest cat in the Clan, who had a notorious temper.

"Kits," he growled, "in the warriors den."

I quailed, while Cliffkit said obstinately. "We were only exploring!"

"Well, go explore the nursery for a change!" he said. Cliffkit and I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

"Come on!" Cliffkit said. "Since we can't go in the warriors den, how about we go in the apprentices den?"

"I don't know," I said, casting a pleading glance in the medicine cat direction.
