Dare to Dystope RP!
Any ideas for Dystopian stories? I was thinking more boys this time, but still girls. And ideas for the plot.

Can we do like more sci-fi-y dystopian? LIke after global warming or after eugenics or after the singularity? (sorry, less-sciency people... you can look up those words)

I was thinking more Divergent-y and Hunger Games-y, but without the romance.

A boy to start out with. (I'm a boy myself, so I'm not good with girl characters :P)
Name: Prink Wein
Personality: Dirty, happy-go-lucky, creative, sometimes emotional.
Apperance: Neon Green eyes, brown curly hair, short. Has a long glowing green scar that goes from the shoulder to the wrist on the left arm.

FILE 113
NAME: Ondine Lumina
OCCUPATION: Works at the BOOKHAVEN (see FILE 5)
AGE: 13
APPEARANCE: Long, dark blonde hair, pale green eyes, caucasian. Pointed ears. (see SPECIES)
PERSONALITY: Is reported to be very strong and a bit mysterious. Stealthy; caretakers report that she can vanish soundlessly into a room.
SPECIES: Aqan
(So the Aqans come from 55 Cancri e, a diamond planet 40 light years from earth. Some traveled to earth with shards of it to sell. The Aqans are a bit sickly and survive cold much better than heat. They are very silent and can basically vanish if they want to by sneaking off. They obtain one power at the age of 13. Drumroll, please... I HAVE TELEKINESIS!)
FILE 5
BUILDING: BookHaven
ESTABLISHED: 2440
Large, white marble building full of all the world's books. Some are incredibly rare (such as an ancient tome, Lord of the Rings, depicting the ancient saga of the mythical hero Frodo Baggins) and some are simply books.

Will add charrie as soon as I can, but for now just a plot idea!
First human contact with extraterrestrial races happened in 2139. The race we contacted were the semi-humanoid Jihashhmi, who apparently serve as ambassadors to dozens of other races, since we were then flooded with requests for settlement from dying or otherwise incapacitated alien species. Then, in 2208, disaster! The Earth was taken over in a single blitz by the Sunakr, a race of giant, scaly birds with four batlike wings and above-human intelligence. It was mostly our own futile efforts to stop them that decimated the planet's surface, leaving only some twenty-odd locations safe for human habitation. The Sunakr built huge, human-scale buildings on these spots, called them Havens, and assigned a purpose and a population of humans to each one. (BookHaven for books and other records, TreeHaven for lumber and fruit trees, GateHaven as a place for visiting or immigrant aliens to stay, etc.)
Now, human society is somewhat feudal. Children are given five years of general education that is required by the Sunakr, then learn the trade of the Haven they were born in from their parents. Only the very best and the brightest get sent to the University in BookHaven. Only the very strongest, toughest, and most disciplined are shipped to the Sunakr home planet to become part of their infantry. Nearly all others lead a simple life, working the trade of their birth Haven, then going to ElderHaven in their last few years. Transfers between Havens are rare; fatality rate of anyone who leaves a Haven, even for a short time, is over 60%.
This, at least, is what the Sunakr version of history says. Why do so many people who choose to leave a Haven die? Is the simple, normal life really the best you can get, as you were brought up to think? Is there something the Sunakr, they who must always be bowed to and obeyed, aren't telling us...?

FILE 44
RACE: Aqans
STATUS: Allied with Sunakrs
DENSEST POPULATION: BOOKHAVEN (see FILE 4)

If this is the plot idea, I'm gonna add the backstory of my character. Also, his name is now Gren Wrink. Gren was created by the Sunakr, a experiment to see if human and Renicka (A alien species that is related to the Sunakr. they were very smart, but are now endangered because of The Sunakr.) can be mixed together. It worked, and since then, The Sunakr experimented on many humans who had 'chosen' to leave. But, soon, Gren rebeled (He was kept in MasterHaven, the haven where all the Sunakr leaders choose to have there meetings. A science lab is also kept in there, with rooms to keep strange species and breeds such has Gren.), but he failed and was put in a glass container. The glass container was made to be very cold, and soon froze Gren in ice. Of course, it didn't kill him. He has stayed there for hunderds of years until when this rp is happening.

Okay, this character shouldn't be made important in most ways sice I don't get onto the Inkwell often, but here she is:
Name: Zendra Latran
Age: 12
Apperance: Straight brown hair with bangs cut straight across. Tall. A little bit like my friend Megan. Always wears diamond studs. Likes wearing purple and black. Wears leggings.
Personality: Straight and serious but creative. The Sunakr disapprove of her. Smart. Is a good fighter.
Haven: BookHaven
Species: Human
Other: Found paper book. They are against the law. Everyone has skTabs, invented by the Sunakr. She hides the paper book. She thinks paper is pronounced papper.

Hey Ellie, in a post I said that the BookHaven has ancient books, so there would be paper books. How about she found a real history book, which actually are against the law. But there are still plenty of other paper books, just not history books.

I agree with brooke.

BookHaven. Ondine's favorite place. She walked in and breathed in deeply, inhaling the smell of the thousands of books that lined the walls. She had lived here all her life and barely read half of them. She just wished there were history books here. What had happened on earth a long time ago?

Gren got his scar when he rebeled. It glows green because beneath his skin, there is liquid acid that protects his body. He got this from his Renicka dna.
Fishsticks. I was hoping to have a character get Gren unfroze, but nevermind.
Gren~
I had spent many years in that ice container. And I'm finally free. The masterHaven is far behind me now, and I'm reaching BookHaven soon. One good thing to have Renicka dna: You can run very fast. I touch my scar, feeling the liquid acid. I shiver, remembering what happened years ago. Hundreds of years ago. I see the white dome of BookHaven. I skidded to a stop. Stupid guards. How am I suppose to get in? Oh well. Guess I have to use it.
The guards see me, but they can't stop me. I raise my hand, feeling the warm acid spill out of my pores. The guards scream, seeing that I'm a Renicka. Or, at least, part Renicka. I put my hand down again, watching the acid burn the guards. I race toward the entrance, pull open the door, and relax aganist a bookcase.
I notice an alien looking at me, with surprise and interest. I nervously look down.
"You came from the outside?" she asked curiously. I nodded.
"Yes. What year is it?" I try not to squirt acid out of my hand from nervousness.
"6135," she replies. I nearly faint. That was.. 6 hundred years ago. I slide aganist the book case, groaning. The girl looks at me with fear in her eyes.
"Six hundred years ago. I have been stuck in that container for 6 hundred years," I whisper.
