Brookeira started this thread but then it just kind of wandered off and got lost. So, I'm restarting it.
This RP is about the descendants of the original superheroes from Brooke's first two superheroes rps (Draco, Aveleen, etc). All new superheroes are welcome, and for people making descendants of old superheroes, their powers can be related or completely different.
Name: Toby Taller
Descendant of: Draco Taller (If your superhero is not a descendant of one of the originals, leave this category out.)
Age: 15
Power: Can create lightning and electrical shocks from his fingertips.
Reserving spots for Brookeira, Noelle, Squeak and Pete if he is still on the CB.

To Winter Fly. I'm not sure anybody else has a problem with it, but I kinda do. I don't think I want to do the time traveling thing all over again. :/ It does get very confusing, and some things sometimes get messed up. We could do the time traveling thing again, but if we do, I don't think I want to take part in that adventure. Now on with the present-time RP!
" Hey Grandpa Kaden," I greeted my grandfather, sitting down at the table. All he did was hum in greeting, flipping an egg on the stove.
" You're all set to start school tomorrow," Kaden said, still not turning around. I thanked him, and started to write another letter to my mother.

Starting school tomorrow. Grandpa Kaden looks a little tired. I think it's from the screaming last night. He would stop for two minute pauses. And then go on and on. I looked up from my writing, and asked my grandfather a question I would soon regret.
" Why do you scream at night?" His entire body tensed up and froze.
" I don't know what you're talking about." I raised an eyebrow.
" C'mon Grandpa, you don't have to deny what I obviously hear all night." He whipped around, his teeth sharpening into fangs, his eyes completely yellow.
" You want to know why I scream? I scream at night, because she's gone! Because she ripped my heart out when she died! If she was still alive, you would've been in good care, while I would've been somewhere else, and still not here when she would die. I left her all alone! She died, and I wasn't there!" he screamed, his ears pointy, and at the top of his head, a long plated-like tail whipping around behind him. I sat there, shocked.
" I wasn't there. She died all alone. All alone."

Winter Firefly's idea had nothing to do with time travel. She was just suggesting the story take place in 2099, which I agree on since if the story took place in 2018 , it would mean the original RP took place I'm the 1950s. And THAT wouldn't make any sense because there was high tech stuff in the original RP, stuff they wouldn't have had in the 50s.

I turn around from Mariokart to see two boys standing in the dining room. They are younger then me, so I assume that they are Elin's (mind if i call her that Brooke?)friends. I see that Grandma had prepared lunch, so I walk in to greet everyone.
"Ah!" says Elin suddenly, as she is pulled out of the room by a dark figure. I try to throw a flashbang, but I am pulled out of the house and throw into a rosebush. I try to get up, but everything goes black before I can.
