GUYS. I cannot believe you. You haven't made a nano countdown thread. Oh well, it started TODAY. *states the obvious* I am freaking out, because I have no idea what my novel is supposed to be about. I have ideas upon ideas, but they never amount to much.
So, how are you reacting to the start of NaNo? (besides writing and writing and writing)
Oh, and Happy Halloween. Hope you got yourselves a bucketload of candy. I got 177 pieces, but it was raining, so I had to throw out some of it.

This morning I was just like oh, today's nano! And I wrote for an hour and got my first 2 chapters and prologue done. It amounted to 1,02 words. But that was the first day. So I'm going to be struggling for the rest of the month. Got to go write!

Well, I have all my characters and a possibility of a plot, plus 500 words I wrote really early this morning, so I'm going to pretend that I can do this! I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!
Oh, I'm going to be so busy this month... *flops*
Aside from that, I'm feeling fine! I love my Halloween costume so much, I'm wearing it right now, and I got lots of candy! Happy Halloween!

Yay writing! I'm taking a class every Saturday from one to four for the next few eels in Novemeber where eight other awkward teens and I write novels. Mostly we were given provosts and talked about stuff, but O feel like O know my characters much better! Plus writing prompts meant K got to write Al trying to get Gwen to go to a wedding. Hilarious!

What's NaNo??????? *confused* although I started my CB novel today.......
It stands for National Novel-Writing Month.

Like the Admin said, Nano stands for National Novel Writing Month. There are two websites that you can go to: www.nanowrimo.org or ywp.nanowrimo.org. The first site is for people 13 and up, the other is for kids until they are 18, I think. Anyways, in November we all try to write a novel of 50,000 words or more if we are on the adult site. On the youth site, you get to set your word goal. The website helps keep track of the words you write and it allows you to communicate with other authors if you want to. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
