Question for Admins! 

Hi, so I just thought of this question, and I was like, hmm, I will make a new post, just in case anybody else was wondering the same thing, or if they wanted to add more questions to this post for the admins.

So, my question was:

Admins, do you have to thoroughly check each post that a person sends out? Or do you sometimes just give it a quick scan over?

If anybody has questions for the admins, you can post them here. :3

 

Good question. Yes, we read through the content of each post. We may delete anything we consider inappropriate. If there's a huge line of comments waiting to be read, I may read more quickly than usual or even scan them. Lack of proper capitalization, spelling, and punctuation really bugs me; Cricket is, after all, a literary magazine. Such comments are hard to read and understand. So if I have time I fix that. Any long comment that comes in all lowercase with no punctuation may sit for a while till I have time to fix it. We Admins are different individuals, so the others may have different procedures.

Who are you? Just wondering.............

Another question: Do you like it or dislike it when people top?

Yet another question: How do you know which comments go to which post?

 

There are three of us who take turns posting during different hours. We work in the editorial department of Cricket Media. We also have other work that we do for the magazines.

 I'm happy when people Top to move comments back to the front. However, I don't like it when they go overboard with duplicate letters and exclamation marks. I figure they just take up too much cyberspace with no added benefit. So I often delete many of the duplicate characters.

 The Chatterbox was set up so that comments automatically go to the thread they were submitted on when we click on Publish.

AH HAH!!!!! HERE IT IS!!!!!!!!! Rembember the post I was talking about in Grace's post WHY DO MY POST KEEP DISSERPERRING!!! or something like that (sorry for spelling mistakes.) WELL.../................. THIS IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had commented on it, and the next day, IT DISSAPPERED!!!!!! NOW HERE IT IS!!!!!!!!!! YAY! I FOUND IT!!!!!!!! YOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT"S FREEZING IN NORTH GEORGIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
