Brooke E. was bored. Why hadn't any of her friends come to her house this week? She sighed and levitated her glass of water, drinking one sip. She went back to reading the Iliad. Suddenly there was a rapping a her window and bedroom door. Quoth the raven, nevermore! She grinned and answered it with a flick of her wrist. She saw CaptainRead and EarthGirl13 standing in the doorway. "Where's ~Blue Fairy~?" Brooke E. asked. "Here!" said ~Blue Fairy~, becoming uninvisible. "Alright, guys. We have stuff to do!" said EarthGirl13. "You're the one who kept stopping to pet the horses," CaptainRead pointed out. Brooke E. couldn't contain herself. "There are more superpowered kids in our neighborhood!"
Everyone turned and gaped. "You're absolutely sure?" asked CaptainRead. "Yes! I sensed it! ONly one problem......" Brooke E. trailed off. "What?" asked ~Blue Fairy~ Brooke E. sighed. "Their names are James E. and Alice. They are not yet aware they have powers."

They stepped inside, and ~Blue Fairy~ said,"Maybe we could just tell them?" "But they would never believe us,"said EarthGirl13. "I have an idea," said CaptainRead. "Maybe if we showed them that we have powers, they might believe us. "It's worth a shot!" said Brooke E. "We'll meet at my house tomorrow at 5:00," said EarthGirl13.
The next evening was bright and clear as the friends gathered at EarthGirl13's house. Inside her room, CaptainRead said,"Where do they live?" "One of them lives in the blue house down the block," said Brooke E,"and the other one lives in that gray one-story house next to mine." Then let's go," said EarthGirl13. They set off toward the first house.
