Continue the Story!

These are always fun! I'll start the story, and everyone will take turns to continue the story, adding only three words.

For the story to make sense, please wait for the post before yours to be published! Otherwise, the story will not make sense. However, if this does happen, we can always start a whole new story!

You can start new sentences, but again, your continuation can only be three words!

Ok Joe, our comments have different times, but the places don't match those times.

How about:

A girl went and hugged me.  And I pushed her roughly towards the
pool in which there was a fountain. She sank, gurgled, so I sent for a
doctor. Later the ambulance pushed through the people who had started to...

Okay, yes, I know Peter has submitted and not been approved and so I am kinda going against what I just said in my thread on CaC, but the fix I would l like to propose is that we have the people start to do whatever they're doing, as Peter sets a stage for, and then after that bit is over, go on about the ambulance. I suppose he probably has the same idea. Unless he submitted about an entirely different thing and is still unaware of the conflict?

I haven't seen his post yet, so I don't know. But I assume he has submitted something about helping to correct the continuity error, and based on that assumption, I'd like to thank him. If he's got a different idea on how to solve the problem we'll have to decide which one to act on.
