Writing Prompts

I don't know about you, but I'm always looking for new and fresh writing prompts. Are you looking, too? Or maybe you have one that you just can't wait to share? Post them here! Who knows? They may inspire someone's new bestselling book!

Cool! I have one:

I have one! Write a found poem! Get one of your boring textbooks or a newspaper article. Choose random words and compose them into a poem, and give it a title. Make sure you say what you used for the words you found.

For this, on NaNo, we ahve a thread where you can take a prompt already left and leave three in return. If you guys want to do that here as well. It helps when you have writer's block, you just have to stop it, pick up a prompt and then leave three for other people.

I'll just leave three right now:

- She glanced at him, watching curiously the water pouring down his cheeks. Humans were strange.

- The food suddenly turned hard in my throat as the words dripped off his lips. I doubled over, choking.

- Life was a struggle these days. The world was shades of gray and black, beached of color since the event only days before. I didn't see the point of going on, nothing was worth it. They were dead, all of them, everyone I had ever had. And I was alone.
