This is a true story that happened 15 minutes ago.

I was flying a kite in my yard, when suddenly I lost my grip on the thing the string is on, and the kite flew over the fence, through the neighbor's yard and over another fence into another neighbor's yard. I ran to the neighbor's house, knocked on the door, and waited. And waited. No one answered, so I went back to my yard, went over the fence, and assessed the situation. I decided that if I pulled on the string (which was in the first neighbor's yard) I would be able to retrieve the kite. No such luck. The string was caught in a bush and the kite was in a tree. (the tree was short, though) I did the only logical thing, which was to slip through the other neighbor's fence, (this was all without permission) and then try to get the kite. I then rescued the kite and went to the Chatterbox to write this. The end. Laughing

Actually, I'm not that brave. I am afraid of going more than 2 1/2 feet on a ladder, and all through the runaway kite adventure my heart was beating about as fast as it could. I tend to panicSurprised if something goes wrong.
