Letters to your
Letters to your Characters!
There used to be a ton of these threads and they were quite amusing, so here we go...
**********
Dear Ridge,
Oh my goodness. Talk about an identity crisis. One page you're so shy and unnoticable that teachers don't even notice when you cut class for a week (which is completely unrealistic, by the way), and then you're a snarky social spy who comes up with cutesy little nicknames for all the cliques at your school. You skip school and hide out in the woods for a week (again, what?) to find evidence for your mystery, but then you insist you like magic tricks because "you don't need much evidence to believe things".
On the other hand, I like you. You're rather mysterious. Maybe it is believable to achieve a level of invisibility where teachers can forget you're even there (a skill I would love to master). Also, while I haven't written much about your relationship with your father yet, it's pretty cool in a sad way, him sending you to a school for troubled kids solely because he hates your interests. Plus I kind of ship you and Nove, since you're both outcasts.
By the way, what's with the angsty glares and scowls at David? It's just...weird. It's like you're trying to add conflict that doesn't even need to be there.
Your super-awesome Creator of Creativeness,

Dear Grace,
Why are you such an idiot? Why did you have to fall in love with Liam? Girl, you were not supposed to be like Kelly and sell your life and your beliefs just to please a guy--especially when you don't know if he likes you. You should be a feminist after all this time; you shouldn't trust guys. But you do. Why did you have to go dashing off to save him when you could have stuck to your beliefs and made all the former sacrifices not be in vain? You just contradict something you affirmed three chapters ago! I am so disappointed.
Yours angrily,
Your Author.
This probably makes no sense, but I hope it does to my character. :)

This thread refuses to top. Stickfiddler figured out why...but I forget what the reason was!
(March 16, 2014 - 1:17 pm)
I think it does top because the Admins weren't online and the thread doesn't register that we want it to MOVE!
(March 16, 2014 - 4:21 pm)
It's up. I think that the trick was that the Admins had to be in . . . I'm not sure, though.

Dear Jay,
Stop worrying! You're fine! Everything will turn out okay! Also, really, maybe paying more attention to your acting and less to the whole time travel thing would probably improve your line memorization. And stick with Lucy and Maureen. And New Bard. They're good people, even though Lost in Yonkers might seem tedious. Dorothy means well.
Sincerely,
Your Author
Spamster in his spamster cage says then. Then? Then. Really, need a lot of interpretation right there.

Dear Ella,
My dear! I cannot express enough my dearest pity and sympathy for you. I know your life must be hard, and extremely emotionally depressing for you. I know you must feel the ache of life like a weight dragging you down and that you often think of letting go. But I am here to tell you: you are loved. If not by the people you wish most to be loved by, but know that you are never forgotten. You fairy friends love you very dearly, and you know they always look out for you. They love you so much they treat you like their own. For you are. If not beautiful in physical form, then in a clean heart, and soul. You caretakers, Carrie and Susan love you, for they would not spend their time and life to take care of you if they did not care about you a mite.
And I love you. Dear Ella, whose days may be filled with wonderful happiness and sadness all at once. I love you very much, and will always be here for you whenever you need. We meet in dreams, and through faerie portals and the ethereal like, but always know.. that I love you. So much so that I will always remain...
Faithfully and forever yours,
Blackberry Elf-Glitter <3

Wow, this thread is awesome! Thanks, WritingWarrior! I liked reading all of your letters, I liked to see how different they were! How many different kinds of advice and feelings you had for\toward your characters. Your characters are all so complex, with so many wonderful surprises about them, I think.
Keep up WRITING! You guys rock!

@ Blackberry:
Thanks! As for my characters being complex, I don't know, but they have complexes all right!
And let me just say that your letter was really awesome. It was so pretty and heartfelt; I wanted to know more about what you were talking about (Ella and the fairies and the others!)

Question: Should they be characters from stories that you write or books that you are reading?
(March 17, 2014 - 5:16 pm)
Well.... I haven't been on here. Best compose a letter.
Dear Robert,
Please make up your mind. Are you loud and outgoing or quiet and sutle? You don't seem like a passive-agressive person, so please stop acting that way. And this happy act. What is up with that? You've been lied to, basically brainwashed, your whole life and now seems like a good time to be happy? I'd be seeking out my vengance in a more straight forward way. But there we go again, with the passive agressive-ness.
Here's some advice: Be more careful. This all seems to be a result of you being uncareful--eveything you've gotten into. You seem farily smart--this should be easy for you, but it's not.
Now, I realise times are hard and it's not easy when there's already one somewhat-crazy fangirl following you around, who's convinced you're Tamaki from Ouran Highschool Host Club, but I know you are far from that. Sure, you've had you're low points-- but of all our characters you're the one with the most knowlegde of what's going on. Use it. And don't let your tongue run as much.
Sincerily,
Your Author

Who are the characters that we write to?
(March 17, 2014 - 5:28 pm)
Dear Ren, I know that I haven't paid much attention to you, especially as you ARE the main character, but could you please please PLEASE give me just a hint about your personality? You might like it this way, but you can't stay a perfect, boring, more caring, version of me forever.
Sincerely,
P.S. (Piper Swift, my pseudonym)
