C'mon guys!

All right, I'll join. Can't promise I'll post a lot because of Nano, but I'll certainly try. 

Name: Alvena Snagsby (Known as Little Snag by some, due to her size and age.)

Age:19

Appearance: Dark brown hair in two braids that are pinned back to keep it out of her eyes. Brown eyes, light brown skin, and slightly oversized nose. Usually wears trousers and a loose shirt, along with boots – all of them are pretty dirty. She's pretty short and slim, but really strong for her size.

Personality: Calm, collected, and able to adapt, but also rather insensitive when it comes to other people - not because she wouldn't be able to tell what's right to say if she tried, but because she usually doesn't really care. Doesn't sway from her position easily and will never admit to being wrong.

Other: She has a mixed-race ancestry, and went into the pirate business after stowing away on a ship and arriving in Tortuga (she generally lives there most of the time). Not so much a pirate as a trader, who's been building up connections for a long time and knows how to turn in all that treasure for money or distribute it without any raised eyebrows. She's not above keeping some for herself, either.  She's traveled on a few ships, but usually stays on land unless there's something promising of which to get a share. She can be a valuable crew member, since she knows all the trade routes and companies and she's also decent with a sword and an excellent shot. She doesn't know all that much about ships and sailing, however. 

Also, she's really more interested in money and alcohol than men. Very few of her connections were formed romantically, more through bribes and other forms of persuasion.
