Poetry Thread...

There doesn't seem to be any active poetry threads on Inkwell now, so here is one!

You and I

    The day I met you and you met me 

     it was as special as can be. 

   Dancing, laughing under the sun 

    oh those days were so much fun. 

Jumping, skipping, one, two, three 

      remember how were we used to be free?

       Baby dolls, skipping rocks 

     making puppets out of socks. 

 Now, we come, our days are full 

       running here and there does get dull.

   Busy schedules filled with school, 

homework, sports, trying to be cool.

The day I met you and you met me

               was as special as it could be.

         As you and I grow apart 

know that you will always have a special place in my heart.
