Looking out, all
Chatterbox: Inkwell
Looking out, all
Looking out, all around, from unexpected places
Behind the biggest smiles, brightest eyes
(Hurt, Pain)
Buried deep, fighting--keep it down
Don't let it out, it will consume you
(Pain, Fear)
Don't touch it, don't say it aloud
Hide behind that mock pretend of everyday
(Fear, Shame)
Make a mask, stay behind it, sheild your burden
Why?--the question never answered
(Shame, Sorrow)
Cover it up, don't let them know
Loud words, hurtful word--keep it hidden
(Sorrow, Anger)
Can't take them back, the hurtful words
Can't apologize, can't explain, can't let them know
(Anger, Hurt)
We, the hurt, are the silent many,
Masked, hiding from the world.

Really good, though, what exactly does it mean? It kinda sounds like the beggining to a Kingdom Hearts game.

It's the cycle of the hurt. Ever head of the saying "hurt people hurt people"? It's what happens when someone gets hurt--emotionally--they go through pain, fear, shame, sorrow, and anger, and they end up hurting someone else.
