Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Did anybody know that the 'Tab' key does a lot of amazing things? I didn't.

So, I was just typing one day on the wonderful site called FictionPress, and what should I accidentally do but hit this wonderful key? Everybody on FP knows that you can't actually add tabs into your writing (it also doesn't help that something got messed up and now it's only this weird <tag></tag> thing) because the screen goes all funky. But anyway, I hit Tab, then Enter, and my writing saved itself!

Turns out if you hit the Tab key when you're not in a wrod-processing unit thing, basically what happens is the cursor goes down to the next clickable thing on that page. So you can pretty much navigate the Internet without using your mouse! HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!?! Which is really helpful here, because when you're typing in the captcha thing, and you hit Enter, then it's like you hit Preview, and then it's a pain. But now, you can just go directly from the body of the text to the captcha box to Submit!!!

Shift+Tab highlights the clickable thing before yours.

Ctrl+Tab switches tabs in an Internet browser.

Alt+Tab switches windows.

There are probably more things the Tab key does, but these are the ones I know.

I DO NOT KNOW HOW I COULD EVER HAVE LIVED WITHOUT THIS WONDERFUL KEY...

(Note: These all work on Windows. I don't know about Kubuntu or Mac or stuff like that.)
