Hi, I'm Maura! I'm new here, and don't know what to do... I keep getting confused! But I finally figured out everything. I haven't been getting Cricket mag. long... but I think it's interesting. I wonder if there is anyone else here from San Diego? That would be pretty cool. I'm going to Mexico soon! I really can't wait. I went to England a few years ago; it was amazing. What do you do on this website? I've read a couple of posts when I was trying to figure out everything, and I heard it was addicting. I like to read, and sometimes write. But I don't actually write that much. Not as much as some of you. (Like I said, I've been reading a few posts.) I'm kind of shy, and creative. I'm going to eat pizza now. Good bye to all.

Hi, Maura!! I'm not a really big writer either, though I like to occasionally. Some people post on every thread, others only do it on a few. If you see a thread that starts with a person's name, it will tell you more about them.

Ohh!!!! Hi Maura! I have a best friend named Maura tooooo! She's really cool!! I like to write! I'm one of those big writers! :D:DD:D:D Once you start posting a LOT, it starts getting really addicting!!!! I'm creative too, well, a lot of people on this site are! :D ;)

Hi, Maura! Like you, I'm new posting here. But I've been reading posts for a while until I realizd that this was not some exclusive club; anyone can post! Some things people do on here are: play games /make quizzes, talk about Cricket, talk about homeschooling (or not), post random things like smileys :), suggest ways to make the Chatterbox better, recommend books, share their writings, and basically talk about just about anything! Welcome to the Chatterbox!

Welcome to Chatterbox! You can create your own posts (or as we call Chatterbox-addicts call them, threads) by clicking on the picture thing on the left hand side saying "Click HERE to talk about _____". You can also comment on any thread by clicking "Add new comment"'. And yes, Chatterbox can be addicting for some of us! There are some people who comment or post a lot (myself, Paige, Kimberly, Laura, Maggie, BellaTrix, etc.) and some who just comment occasionally.
I hope you enjoy Chatterbox!

It took me a long time to figure that out, too. i had to read a lot of posts before I finally got it. They're smileys. :) If you tilt your head a certain way, they look like smiling faces. But there are a lot of variations on that. Like, :D (an open-mouthed smiley), and :B (a toothy smiley). You can also make frowns, like :( and :-(. A lot of people here like making smileys. If you want a more straightforward smiley, you can clik on the happy face on the bar with the B and I and take your pick!

I'm a Smiley Freak!!!!!!:):):) Oh, I can tell you that--I use them A LOT!:):):) They're smileys. If you have a hard time seeing them as that, look at them sideways.:):):) Of course, you can also use the smiley bar.:)

If you turn your head to the left, you'll see that they look like funny little smiley faces. :) -normal :D -happy :( -sad :-) -nose :-D -happy nose :-( -sad nose ;) -wink ;-) -winky nose <:) -hat >:( -angry *-* -weird baby thing :O -shocked [} -pie :)D)D)D)D)D -laughing (mouth opening and closing) :P -tongue :-P -tongue nose :| -bored :\ -unsure =) -really happy =D -really, really, really, really happy!
