Guess who's hand
Guess who's hand I shook last night?? CHRISTOPHER PAOLINI'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to Alabama for a book sigining by him last night, and we shook hands! It was amazing! He signed my Eragon and brand new Inheritance books! I was so excited! I had written to him about a month ago asking if he could send a signed copy of one of his books for a new library where I live, and he did! So, I introduced myself and explained all that, and he remembered me! He shook my hand and I asked how I had been doing and if I had gotten into the book at all yet. It was amazing!!!

Quintus- The pen may be mightier than the sword, but the sword is mightier than the paper shredder. As I have woefully proven, minus the sword.

That's AMAZING!! I've always wanted to meet an author (a GOOD one, not one of the sucky kindergarten-level authors who comes to my sister's school). CP isn't my favorite author, but I'd still really love to meet him. I should start thinking of something to write in a letter to Gail Carson Levine...
Spammy says "yayp". Yay Paolini!

OMG! I've heard all about his books, and I have been meaning to read his books LIKE SINCE FOREVER. But saddly, I have my hands full of Percy Jackson books. But today we went to the store, and I saw Inheritance. I looked at it because those books look so cool!
I get there's 'Eragon, Eldest, and Brisinger' but what is Inheritance? I know it exists, but I don't know if it's a new book in that series, or a some other thingamajig.
