Chatterbox: Down to Earth

VBS!  So I volunteered at my church this year and was a group assistant leader for 6-8 year olds.  I extremely enjoyed it (besides the fact that I had to get up at 6:30 every morning...)!  It's really fun to get to know the kids and share in their joy of learning the faith and playing.  And, gosh, kids say the darndest things!  Next year I want to be the actual leader-- this was my first year and I didn't want to start off as that. It's really neat to have the kids look up to me and listen and actually obey (not like my siblings hehe). Anyway, you should get involved with this--it's loads of fun!  Whether you're old enough to volunteer or still young enough to be an actual attendant (I think the oldest group was 11-year-olds), you'll love it. :P
