Summer! Okay so

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Summer! Okay so

Summer! Okay so I only have 13 days of school which I'm guessing is about the same as most of you. (Except homeschoolers...) Does anybody have any amazing summer plans?? Are you planning for a relaxing summer, or a summer filled with camps, trips etc?? For me my summer (as usual) is as busy as I can handle with swim camp, water polo camp, basketball camp, actual outdoorsy camp, and my golf and soccer leaugues.  I also am probably taking a vacation and possibly (and hopefully) taking a few trips to visit my cousins!! (I don't see them much)

What about you though?? What are your summers like??

I have school on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday we have to be talked at for an hour at 11:00 before we get our caps and gowns. On Friday at 7 I graduate.

Provided I don't die of desperation between now and then, I have Follies on June 14, then a family reunion here immediately after, then Old Faithful Christian Ranch and my birthday in the first week of July, and then I move in the last week of August.

Congratulations, TNO, and best wishes for the future. Check in with us when you can.

Wow, I didn't even realize you were 17.  Congratulations!  What college are you thinking of going to?  (I don't mind if you don't answer that.)

Spammy must have been trying to say "Go, TNÖ" or something like that, but all he can say is tngg.

I think she said before that she's going to Cornell College in Iowa.

I end school on the 29th of June, I think. I'm private-schooled by the way.

During the summer, I used to go to California to visit relatives but that ended when I was eight because of my brother, so annoying. Now my family doesn't go on planes and I don't think anyone likes car trips after driving to New York.

In the past few summers, I've been going to a bunch of (day) camps (I'm not allowed to go anywhere overnight without a parent for some reason) and Canada's Wonderland. This year, I'm planning to go on the Behemoth. I think it's the tallest roller coaster in Canada. Hopefully one of my cousin's will go with me because my dad's afraid his heart will go out if he rides the Behemoth (he was joking, but he still won't go) and my mom doesn't like thrill rides, so...

Also this year, I'm hoping Camp NaNoWriMo will be up, so I can write something other than HP fanfiction. And hopefully I'll find a new book series to read.

Oh yeah, and then there will be a bunch of piano lessons and studying for my theory exam. :( But I'm just glad that the practical one will be over by the time school's out. (it's on the Wednesday of the last week of school. Eep!)

Then I'll be trying to stalk my new school on the Internet... :P

I finish school on the last day of July or first day of August. You guys may think it's torture but we get more vacation through out the school year instead of one big long vacation. You don't forget as much during vacation either. I'm Ok with going till August (except that it'll be crazy hot)! Yeah...

Well for me, school gets out on June 7th, and my summer is pretty busy from then on.

-- I will be babysitting on most Tuesdays and Thursdays, and working at my mom's bookstore.

-- I go to a week-long sleep-away camp on July 17 or something, with my friend.

-- In June my family goes with my friend's family to a rental house/cottage thing for a few days....it's a house on stilts!

-- I will be going up to Minnesota for a week with some people I know (friends might be pushing it), their grandma lives on a lake, so they live up there in the summer.

-- I hope to practice tennis with my dad. (I am just learning, so all I can really do is serve.)

--Read, Read, READ!

-- Probably get ready for middle school (7th grade), because it will be a WHOLE new experience for me.

--swim, swim, swim.

--Hopefully go on Chatterbox more than I have this school year.

--Go to the Dells (Wisconsin Dells) with my cousins

-- Swim

--Read

--Enjoy

So I think that's it. I hope this wasn't boring......

HAPPY SUMMER!

You guys are lucky, I get out June 16. Such a bummer. Soo, that leaves, like, 26 more days with the thought of school on my mind. I go to a private school, so we end and start late. Yeaahh, but it's stilll the same length of summer. Summer plans...? Well, I'm going to a 3-week acting camp, our whole family is going camping, an overnight camp is possible, and we're going on vacation to Big Bear Lake for a while; there's a cabin that we stay in and it's really rerally fun. Other than that, my mom might drop me in day camps every once in a while.

I get out of school on June 8th, but then I have a Promotion Mass on the 9th and a Promotion party on the 10th.  Then I have to sing for a Baccalaureate for the Seniors on the 11th.  So my week really ends after that. :)  I leave on the Wednesday after that to visit my relatives in Iowa, where I'll be visiting more colleges.  Then, on July 1st, I start a music camp in New Hampshire for 10 days.  After that, we'll be in New Hampshire for the rest of the month spending time with friends there.  In August, I'll come home and figure out how to get all my Christian Service hours in.  (My school makes you do only 5 hours in 7th and 8th grade, but then 20 hours for high school.  I'm not getting this division...)

Everyone's summers sound like so much fun!  Hope you enjoy yourselves.

@TNÖ: You must make a thread about Follies if you have time!  I'd love to hear about it.  Also, you'll have to drop it some time and tell us how college goes. :)

@TNO: Cornell always reminds me of Andy from The Office.... :)

Oh, and I just found out that I'm volunteering at the VBS at my church. I'm really excited for that!

I really feel so ignorant among you guys...

What's The Office?

What's VBS?

I can look them up if you'd rather. In fact I'll go and do that right now, so never mind.

Oh haha, don't feel ignorant!  The Office is a tv show.  It's not the most appropriate show (but I think it is more than Glee), but I still enjoy it. And VBS is Vacation Bible School.
