Mother's Day!
Chatterbox: Down to Earth
Mother's Day!
Mother's Day!
What did you all get your moms for Mother's Day? I made my mom a poetry book. I wrote a bunch of poems (maybe 25 or so), and put them all into a book. What about you?

In church I made a bunch of horrible paper-flower-things bouquet. Oh, and I tried to make banana pancakes out of a quick mix and they turned out ok, except a few had to be cooked more. And one of the pancakes ended up looking like scrambled eggs. Oh, and I woke up at 8:40-ish since I forgot that I was supposed to cook breakfast, so everyone ended up eating at around 9:45 AM. :)

I made my Mom a little box of truffles and I made dinner. I made steak, heated up rolls, and stir-fryed some peppers and peas and beans from our garden.

I made my mom a green card. It had pop up letters when you opened it that said: "I love (it was a read heart actually) You"
I wrote a poem that said:
Roses are Red
Violets are Blue
Happy Mother's Day
This is for you:
Whenever you're sad
Whenever you're blue
Remember that:
I love you!
We also went on a bike ride and to a nice restaurant!

I made my mom a card, and cleaned the house and gave her a backrub. :) Every birthday, I make her a poem book.

Well, we were actually out of town for Mother's Day for my grandpa's funeral (which is why I haven't posted much lately. We just got back today). So I didn't have anything for her. But I've been putting together a photo album on our Mac so that'll be her very late Mother's Day present.
We're sorry about your grandfather, R~D~. I know your mother will appreciate the photo album whenever it's ready.

I made her a card. But I don't like Mother's Day; the placement of the apostrophe has always bothered me. So in the future I'm considering celebrating Mothering Sunday instead, on the fourth Sunday in Lent.
