Matzos that isn't
Chatterbox: Down to Earth
Matzos that isn't
Matzos that isn't for Passover???
As some of you Chatterboxers may know I am Jewish. These past couple of days have been Passover, one of our holidays. We are not allowed to eat products with yeast in them (like cereal, bread, COOKIES!!!) so we are stuck eating a type of cracker that has no yeast in it called Matzos.
I was out shopping for Matzos because we ran out of it. This was a bad decision because it is the day before Easter, so the supermarket is very crowded. When I got to th international area of the supermarket, I went to the Kosher part where they sell Matzos, Latkes, etc. I looked up to the spot where Matzos normally is, and ... they had Matzos. I was about to grab the box when I noticed that is said in tiny letters in the right hand corner, that this Matzos was NOT for Passover. WHO MAKES MATZOS THAT ISN'T FOR PASSOVER AND SELLS IT DURING PASSOVER. And guess what, they had NO Matzos for Passover. That made me very frustrated, as you can tell.
Thank you for listening to my concerning story about selling MATZOS ON PASSOVER THAT ISN'T FOR PASSOVER!!!

Why would a store do that?? I'm not Jewish myself, but I know that must be extremely frustrating. Come on, it's Passover, for goodness' sake! I mean, maybe selling Matzos not for Passover at another time would be something different, but during Passover? Wow, sorry about that, Choco! And enjoy your Matzos that are for Passover :)

I have no idea why that store did what it did. Thanks Leaf, and at least we do have some Matzos that is for Passover.

Huh? That's really...Strange! I mean if they know it's Passover then why do they show NON Passover crackers???? Weirdo store and shame on you for making Choco mad! *wags finger at store*

Wow! What store does that! I mean even if someone not Jewish wanted them they could just buy Passover ones! Did they have yeast or something? If not what's the difference?? *confusion*

I don't know what the difference was! It didn't even say!
