She loves the old Star Trek, ummm, the last generation??? Not sure...

Dear Emma O.

First off, Star Trek is perfectly respectible and does not make one a nerd.  I am absolutly NOT  a nerd!

Second, nice to see you, Elizabeth M!

Third.  Vida, it's Star Trek THe Next Generation.

Check out my thread on Pudding's Place!  It has tons of facts and neat discussions!  I love it that Elizabeth learned a lot!  I love Star Trek.  It's one of my favorite passions and pastimes.  I"m going to be starting a new Star Trek thread onPudding's Place, it'll be titled - Star Trek TNG   if anyone wants to talk:)

@Stargazer: Hey there, nerd is not a derogatory term. In most usages, it implies intelligence. I am a self-described nerd.

@Emma: I've never really seen Star Trek, but I love most classic TV shows, so I'd probably enjoy it...if I ever watch and episode, I'll let you know what I think! :)

@ZNZ: I'd much rather be nerdy than "normal"-it's a lot more fun that way. :)

Saying I was a nerd wasn't meant as a bad thing. :) I consider myself a nerd, and it's definitely more awesome than being normal. :)
