Yay, I found the recipe!
Oregon-Berries.com Recipe
Blackberry Breakfast Bars
These bars are not only and exceptional way to start the day, but they're also great for the fast break- a quick energy snack between all those summer activities.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups fresh or frozen blackberries or raspberries
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup margarine or butter melted
DIRECTIONS
For filling, in a medium saucepan combine berries, sugar, water, lemon juice, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for about 8 minutes or till slightly thickened, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. In a mixing bowl stir together flour, oats, brown sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, and baking soda. Stir in melted margarine or butter till throughly combined. Set aside 1 cup of the oat mixture for topping. Press remaining oat mixture into an ungreased 9x9x2-inch pan. Bake in a 350-degree oven for 20-25 minutes. Carefully spread filling on top of baked crust. Sprinkle with reserved oat mixture. Lightly press oat mixture into filling. Bake in 350-degree oven for 20-25 minutes or till topping is set. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Cut into bars. Makes 18.
Of course you can modify the recipe. And if you have a certain type of oven the temperature or duration may vary, like my oven is a convection oven and doesn't have to be as hot and long as the recipe states, but just make it work for what you have. It's a really good recipe and I higly recomend it! It may take a while but it sure is worth it!

I'm not homeschool, I'm just sick. Though I think that there's a thread on D.t.E. about homeschoolers, though it's further towards the back.

@RD Welcome! It's 100% true. Are you asking me about being homeschooled? Cause then my answer is no. That would be interesting though. The thing is I have a 6,7,8 (not sure. It depends on where you live)hour time difference so that's why I sometimes post when you guys are sleeping...

Thanks again! That's so nice. :D Oh, well, I guess I could have figured the time differences out for myself. :) Just wondering! You know, my dad was born in Germany! He's not German, though, he was born at the US naval base, I believe.

Ooh! food! I absolutely love food. It's amahzin. Yes. I shall now give a recipe of cornbread! :)
1 cup corn meal
1 cup flour
2 to 4 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1. Preheat oven to 425*F
2. In large bowl, combine corn meal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
3. Add milk, egg and oil.
4. Bake in greased or sprayed 8-inch square baking pan for 20 to 23 minutes.
Yes. I also change it a lot, putting extra things in, like fruit and honey and flax oil and many other things. I also usually just use butter to grease my pan. :) Maybe I'll make it tomorrow...

I know I am really late on this, but if you still are doing a lot of cooking then I have an amazing doughnut recipe. I first tryed making donuts last Easter. I tried a recipe yeast donuts which didn't turn out well. They tasted like biscuits and not even good biscuits. Then last month I tried this recipe for doughnuts from a new cook book we got recently and I tried the baking powder doughnuts recipe it and they tasted just like cake doughnuts from doughnut shops. Here is the recipe:
5 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 cups bread flour (all-purpose flour will work also)
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional) Mace is good too.
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1 cup milk
Instructions:
Cream the butter with sugar and add the well beaten eggs. Combine and sift the dry ingredients and add them to the first mixture alternately with the milk. Beat the batter well and add enough additional flour to make a very soft dough. Roll the dough to the thickness of 1/4 inch and cut it into shapes. Fry the doughnuts in deep fryer heated to 375 degrees. Drain the doughnuts and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Enjoy!!!
