My name is Adessa!! I am 11 years old and I am a girl!!

-Other languges (such as Spanish, Latin, French, and a little Italian)
- Being private schooled (next semester I am going to FINALLY be homeschooled again)

-Riding my bike
-Playing with my siblings (Both younger Girl and boy. Sarah and Joshua)
-Computer

Oh and did I say my birthday is January 10th and I will be 11??
Oh and just so you know, Vida is my cousin! And I am NOT TALL AT ALL!!!!! I am about 4 ft. 11 in. -- that is super short for and almost-11-year-old!!!!!!!!
So anyway um, thanks??? Oh and my middle name is Marie (so is Vida's.)
I am also half Mexican!!!

Oh, great. Okay, um, so Vida was just saying in the "names" thread in Inkwell that she liked this name. She never mentioned she had a cousin named Adessa Marie. You sound an awful lot like Vida, which could be because you're cousins and are almost the exact same age (coincidently?) ... but I've learned to be wary of these things. Is this Vida? Vida, if you just want to rework your identity, you could do that without saying you're leaving and then making up a fake person. If you're not Vida, then welcome and I'm sorry for blaming you for being someone you're not.

Oh, and just so you know, I'm only wary of this because we had someone named SMS a year or so ago make up a HUGE lie about herself, then said she would leave, then kept coming on as different "newcomers". She had a unique writing style and signature, so some of us Cbers (myself included) hammered the "new" people to see if they were SMS because they sounded the same as her. We could possibly have scared away newcomers, thinking they were just SMS, and we also made some of the oldies leave, too, because we were being harsh to newcomers. Confusing, but it was a confusing and hard time. And I didn't like it, but I didn't like the fact that someone would lie to us like that, so, I'll admit, I was overly mean. Vida, I won't be mad if this is you... I won't be mad at all! :) If it's not you, I EXTREMELY apologize to Adessa, and hope you stay.
@CBers and Admins: You should be proud of me, I deleted a bunch of mean and unneeded comments from my post. :)

And Adessa and I reallly aren't that close; she turns 12 on the 10th and she lives in Dallas which is 4 hours away. I never see her; we don't really know each other.

Oh, okay. I'm really sorry for blaming you Vida. Like I said, it's just happened before. Oh, I didn't really delete them, I just had something I was going to say, but thought better of it. Because I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings. Isn't that kinda funny that your cousin is coming on at the time your leaving? Adessa, do you get Cricket?

Welcome, Adessa!! I like your name a lot. That's cool that you're cousins with Vida. I remember that there were once some cousins on here who didn't realize that they were cousins until they met up and asked each other if they posted on CB. Lol, that was really funny.
@ RD--nicely put! I am also occasionally wary sometimes because of that incident a while back. We were definitely too harsh, and I don't see at all why I even cared if people were real or not, for it only made the problem worse. I've learned not to worry about it, because either way, they can still be a part of Chatterbox.

*smiles* thanks, MJ and Admins. :) Now that I remember, you and I (MJ and I) were two of the "meaner" ones, weren't we? Good times. :D But you make perfect sense. It doesn't matter at all. I just... think it's kinda weird that Vida would make a big thing about leaving, and then come on as someone else. That didn't seem like her at all! We all want her to stay, so I don't know why she'd come on as someone else. *sighs* I'll just stop.
I love the name Adessa, it's so unique. And you've been on TV? Nice. I just found out that a "friend" (meaning he's not really my friend, he's just an aquaintance) is in the new Kinect commercial. So cool.....
