Woah... how come

Woah... how come I haven't heard of Cricket Readers Recommend??  I clicked on it, and some of you buggies post on it!  But I haven't heard about it at all.... Weird.  So, should I go on it, or is it dead-ish?  And what is it?  I don't have time to look into it right because I have to do schoolwork, but tell me if you like it and what it is! :)

Cricket Readers Recommend is DEAD. It used to be to talk about books, but then BaB came along and made it redundant. I would ignore it, if I were you.

Cricket Readers Recommend is where you can submit book reviews. We look through them when we are selecting reviews to be published in the magazine. Blab About Books is intended to be for book discussions, where you can comment back and forth with other readers. 

 

We do also accept book reviews at mail@cricketmagkids.com and via mail to: Cricket Readers Recommend, PO Box 300, Peru, IL 61354. And we're always looking for new ones to publish!

Oh gotcha.  :)  It kinda looks fun though....... do you admins control (looking for the right word here..... administrate? :D) that too?

 

Yes, we select the reviews to be published. We try to find some that match some of the themes in the issue of Cricket, but we're also always on the lookout for reviews of any interesting books that may not be familiar to all our readers.

In the most recent issue of Cricket, there is a review for the book called The Last Dragon by Silvana De Mari  and it says it was submitted by ZNZ age 13.

...I just saw that on Friday. It freaked me out majorly. I didn't know things from BaB got put in the magazine... O_O

Lol, I remember posting on CrReRec, like 2 years ago. CB is the only place I go on, though I occasionally check out the art contest winners, as I love to see people's artwork.

It is deadish, but you can go on anyway. I check it occasionally; so do a few other people. It is fun, it's just that BaB is better.
