Chatterbox: Down to Earth
Everybuggy always has
Everybuggy always has fun with things like this. There are two things you can do. First, Wordy Gurdies! Grace (I believe) made a thread for these before and I found it quite entertaining. The answer to the hint must rhyme and the hint and answer must both be two words. Example:
Hint: Feline Cap.
Answer: Cat Hat.
Get it??? Here is my actual one: Gluey Mouse. This is kind of hard. Please guess away!
Also, secret messages! I am going to write a secret message in a question form. You must decipher the message then post your answer to the question. Here it is:
ejsy od pm upit nrftpp, g;ppt ?
You can answer mine/post your own! With your secret message, there must be a way to decipher it, say, you choose to end every word with a certain letter: Helloy! Howy arey youy?" See? Please enjoy! :)

I already did both of ZNZ's on another thread, so I won't give them away here, and I don't know TNO's. I don't know any of the codes, either. I have a Wordy Gurdy, though: Many-sided polygon, dictionary. At least, they mostly rhyme...

Octagon Lexicon? Nonagon Lexicon? Decagon Lexicon? Those are all pretty good rhymes.

Very close. Very, very close. Mine rhymes a bit more closely, but that's almost exactly it.
Aetc says nwoo! New woo?

Hexagon Lexicon!

Yes!
Aetc says rdyu. R~D~ you... No, I'm not R~D~; I'm actually Ima, but thanks for trying to guess!

I've got a Wordy Gurdy:
Romantic Bird.
(February 3, 2011 - 6:15 pm)
Love dove?
And here's one I made up. I'm guessing that it's going to be pretty easy...
A happy fruit.

Yes, Leaf, Love Dove was correct, I knew it was too easy. I'm not very good with riddles.
(February 4, 2011 - 10:08 am)
Merry Cherry?
(February 5, 2011 - 4:44 pm)
Or maybe merry berry?
(February 5, 2011 - 10:59 pm)
@ZNZ and Ima: You're both right. I couldn't decide between cherry and berry... :)
(February 7, 2011 - 9:22 pm)
I am slowly getting this... Ok, not exactly... How does this work??
(February 8, 2011 - 1:28 pm)
A wordy gurdy, also called a hink pink is a sort of riddle. The answer will be 2 rhyming words, and you have to give a synonym for each, and everyone else tries to guess what it is. You can look for examples on this thread; there are plenty.
Aetc says woor. Woolly wooden door war on the moor with voortrekers (spelling?)!
I always heard it called a hinky pinky (hinkey pinkey?).
