Strange things your

Strange things your parents have done.

Okey dokey (sorry, I don't know how to spell it), so basically, you just post a bunch of funny stuff that your parents have done before. Or strange stuff. Anyways...

My mom, who usually listens to 70s and 80s music, just went on an itunes rampage and downloaded a bunch of pop music. From Glee to Shakira. I know that's not that strange for some of you guys, but it is for me.

Now you guys have to post. :-)

Well, the thing is, you have to process the wheat more to get white bread, so all the great things about the wheat are gone.  In wheat bread however, you still have those good things in the wheat so it's a lot healthier.  That's all I know. :)

I have to say that with living with my parents after 12+ years, they really don't seem that strange.....Tongue out >.<  um, but during the summer (2010), my dad became obsessed with sailboats, and I mean Obsessed he was always online looking up sailboats.  grrr.  I mean, I mean, I don't even like sailing that much. I would rather he be obsessed with something else, like, say, houses in France...[(hint, hint) actually, he was obsessed with that a while ago] or even snowboarding (his current obsession, i perfer skiis).

Other than that, i don't think they are that odd. Or maybe I am just extremely odd. Who knows. :-p

It's mostly other parents/adults that kinda bug me....

Oh well

Off to make potholders... ~[] (that was supposed to be a potholder by the way)

I don't know, I don't think my parents have done anything that I think is really weird. Some people would count having 8 children, but I don't. :)

And since this seems to be part of the general discussion, I prefer wheat bread. But white bread is nice as a treat (especially homemade) and it makes good toast.

Do you know what? I don't think I've ever even had white bread. There's probably a reason for that... Doesn't it have milk or something? I think? Because that would explain it, as I've always been allergic to that... Anyway, I can't really have either kind now, because I have a sensitivity to wheat, but I did like wheat bread when I could have it... Anyway, actually, all my bread has to be homemade now, because I can't have wheat, and all the gluten-free breads in stores have rice or corn or soy or something I also have a sensitivity to...

I don't think it has to have milk, no.

Well, my mom has blonde moments.  (No offense to anyone including myself.  No offense taken)  Those aren't embarassing, though.

Hmm.  Oh, I know.  Okay, so I was in this play called Ukrainiacs.  It was about these three Ukrainian folk tales.  One of the narrators had to blab about borscht.  So my dad went up to her and said, "You like borscht."  *blushes*  That was embarassing because they were actually able to identify whose dad it was.   And I barely knew them.
