Interesting facts, anyone? I have this book that has a bunch of weird facts about pretty much everything. If you know any or have something weird in your life that you just can't explain, post it here! I love to hear about the strange things in the world!
1. The last dodo bird died in 1681.
2. Bulls are actually color blind, so they don't get angry at red.
3. Sweat doesn't smell bad!!! Even though I can tell you first hand that if you sniff your brothers pits after his basketball practice, you will NOT be the happiest person in the world.
3. Sea-horses mate under a full moon ONLY. (how romantic <3)
4. Sharks kill only about 10 people a year, but coconuts kill about 150. FEAR THE COCONUT!!!
5. The biggest burrito was built in 1997 and was the size of a white rhino.
6. The Roman Colliseum was built in 80 CE.
7. There are 31,536,000 seconds in a normal year. :0

I have a whole bunch of dog facts I have been dying to share.
1. The Poodle, currently a non-sporting dog, used to be in the sporting group. The traditional way to shave a poodle was developed to keep out burs and stickers while they were retrieving birds. The reason there is a bog poofy at the end of the tailis is so that the hunter could see the dog in tall grass.
2. The Labrador Retriever originally came from in Newoundfland, not Labrador and can also be reffered to as the Lesser Newfoundland.
3. The Doberman Pinscher was developed from the Miniature Pinscher.
4. The Border Collie is considered the smartest dog of all dogs.
5. The German Shepherd originally did not have the angle that it does now. That was developed for show purposes only. It is the only dog that stacks the way it does in the show ring.
6. The Rodhesian Ridgeback is also known as the African Lion Hound.
7. There are two types of Hounds. Sight Hounds, and scent Hounds.
8. The Greyhound is the fastest dog in the world and the second fastest animal on land. The fastest is the Cheetah.
9. The silver and red Labrador Retrivers are not AKC recognized colors.
10. Pictures of Pharoah Hounds have been found on numerous Egyptian tombs.
11. The greater Swiss Mountain dog is a descendant of the Mastiff.
12. Kuvasz are raised with the lambs they will protect.
13. Almost all breeds of Terriers have Terrier in thier name, with the exception of the Miniature Schnauzer.
14. There are actually eight AKC groups, the eigth being the Miscilaneous which are dogs who are not truly AKC recognized yet.
15. When horse-drawn carriages were used for travel, the Dalmations would trot alongside it to herd away loose farm animals and to guard the coach when the driver left.
