OK. That's just plain weird. My entry--or whatever you call it--has disappeared, off the face of the earth, apparently.

Let me repeat my questions: Are there any other fellow string players? And does anyone have a favorite composer?

 Emma, I just found your earlier thread on page 89 of Down to Earth. It begins Hey, fellow string players. Of course, I don't guarantee it will stay on that page. None of us really understand how/why the threads move around. You just have to be persistant in your hunting. As I said on the other thread, one of my favorite composers is Dvorak. Of the ones
you mention, my favorites would be Bach, Holst, and Mozart.

Faure, Ravel, or Debussy. I want to play cello, but probably won't get to until, um, I don't know. Do you play any strings, or any instrument in general?
