Chatterbox: Down to Earth
My week was
My week was wonderful! YESTERDAY was fabulous! Well, my family took a little vacation (Yes, while everyone's in school! Mwhaha! No lines! Cheaper prices! No crowds!) While we were there, of course, it rained the whole time except the last two days, Thursday, and the day we left, Friday. So, we decided to go horseback riding on Thursday. Of course, every stinking horseback riding place was closed or booked, so we spent the whole day driving around and checking out all these horse places that were all closed! Ugh! And it's not easy with two annoying little brothers fighting in the back seat and a two-year old that asks every five minutes "Where are we going?" So, my dad decided to call the kayaking place. Booked. Of course. So we went back to our cabin and spent a sad night there.
The next day was of course hectic... packing and repacking and cleaning and recleaning and trying to get outta there by 11am. We finally did and my parents surprised us.... we were going horseback riding! AND KAYAKING! It was totally awesome. Of course, me being me, I was super nervous for both events (I get.... anxiety and nervous about everything pretty easily.) But I'm proud of myself and I did both! :) My butt still kinda hurts from the horse (Her name was Missy. She was SOOO cute.) but the kayaking was amazing. I've never done it before and I really enjoyed it. Especially since the water was crystal clear (we were kayaking on a river) and there were HUGE salmon swimming right underneath us and bald eagles and osprey soaring above us. Great day! :D

That sounds like a really awesome week! :D I love it when parents have surprises up their sleeves, it always makes a trip extra special! :) I love horseback riding and kayaking! How awesome that you beat your nerves and did both! I've only kayaked (is that spelled correctly? It looks odd. :)) twice, but it's so much fun, especially when the weather is wonderful! :)
(By the way, I'm in WA! :D)

Yeah the weather was GREAT except it was a bit chilly, but it was fine with me... I had on a wetsuit! :D Thanks, Kimberly! :) OH! I wish I knew where in WA, but I totally understand if you don't want to give out any information. Maybe... are you more towards the East or closer to the West, by the ocean?? Or in the middle? :)

Well, at the moment, we are headed for a town near Seattle. We're just leaving Walla Walla. :)
I'm really loving WA so far, I've missed the West! :)

Wow, R~D~, well I'm glad you had a good time! ;D I understand what you mean with the anxiety and nervousness (I'm that way a lot, too :\), but it's really great that you could just get out there and do it anyway. :) I hope I get to do something like that someday. XD

Ooh! That sounds fun! :) I went horseback riding last year, and the horse I rode was named Stevie. She was really sweet... :) My butt didn't get particularly sore, though. And I was really nervous, as I am with everything. I keep wondering how I'll do...
I have recently gone on a Spiral Scouts camp out... It was fun! I earned my fire badge, my compass badge, my knot tying badge, and my knife bearing badge! In less than 24 hours. Four badges. :D I like Spiral Scouts...

@Megan, I'm glad I'm not the only one like that. I get so nervous over almost everything, i'ts kinda ridiculous. OH, G2G I'll write more later.

I don't live that close to Seattle, Kimberly, but it's cool that you're in a city that my family goes to pretty often! :P Maybe you'll come by my town. oh, and kayaking is spelled that way. I looked it up :)
Anyhoo, what was I saying about nervousness? Oh, yeah. Um, well, I get to where I can barely do anything. I get myself so worked up, and then, when I just make myself do it, I love it and the feeling goes away. But alot of the time, I don't even try. I don't know why!

Yeah, that's too cool! :) Ha, ha, good, I'm glad to know I spelled that correctly. :)
I know just what you mean! Up until this year, that's they way I felt about roller coasters. I would get myself so worried & so freaked out & so scared that I couldn't even bring myself to go stand in line. It was nuts! For some reason, this year, that's totally changed! Anytime we go to a theme park or fair I always want to go on the roller coaster(s)! I still feel nervous while standing in line, but once I get buckled in my nervous feeling goes away, and I have a great time! :)

hehe! I LOVE ROLLER COASTERS! Well, how can you not when we used to get season passes to Cedar Point when we lived in Ohio? Kimberly, have you been there? Next time you go to Ohio, MAKE THAT A STOP. I even think they have an RV park, or a place you can stay overnight. Well, I think anyway. :) MEGA- best place ever! My main reason for wanting to go back to Ohio!

I LOVE ROLLER COASTERS TOO! ;) Nope, I haven't been there yet, but it seems like such an amazing theme park!!! I would love to go there, I'll let you know if I ever do. :) We did go to the Rock & Roll Museum in Ohio though, that's awesome too. :)
