Hi all you

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Hi all you

Hi all you Canadians!!  I will be visiting some relatives in Canada, leaving tomorrow!  So maybe, by sheer luck, I might see one of you on the streets somewhere and not even recognize you!  Yay! :)  Well, I don't really know how many people here live in Canada.... I believe only 2, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, I might not be able to write, but there's a computer where I'm staying (my great Aunt's house) so I'll see if I can get on.  I will be returning Friday.  :)

Also, PHEW!  It says it's 96 degrees here!  Is that insane or what?  Especially since the ENTIRE month of July was chilly.  Well, maybe I'll talk to you from Canada!  See ya!... wait that doesn't really work.  Um, talk to ya.... later. :)

HAHA!  Spamboys says "zped" :)  It's the newest type of moped that he owns! :)

Oh!  I'm back!!! :)  I had an amazing time... I've never posted a picture before, but lets try this, shall we?  Okay, well, I couldn't take my camera because my sister needed it at home (BOO HOO!  I never go anywhere without my camera!!) But for this SPECTACULAR event, I used my Aunt's.  Um, I got to see dolphins.  DOLPHINS!!! *squee* *jumps up and down* *squee*  *DOLPHINS*  It was the BEST!  (My favorite animals, or is that not obvious? :) This is the second time I've seen these live BEAUTIFUL creatures, so I can't tell you how excited I was.  I hope this works....

Oh it only partly came in- it's kinda cut off.  Oh well.  This picture is blurry in a way that makes it almost look like a painting.  Cool, right?  :)  But, I had such a great time in Canada- except the traffic and the prices.  Wow, there was SO much traffic it was INSANE, and the prices- well, let's just say that not one thing in the dollar store was a dollar.  ;)  But that's okay, I bought stuff anyway!  *happy dance*  And I couldn't keep track of all the money- they returned my American cash with Canadian and toonies and loonies are they called?  Hmm... oh and my aunt bought me kinder-surprises!!!!  YAY!  Those are apparently illegal in the US, but I remembered them from my last visit to Canada.  hee hee!

{For those who do not know, kinder-surprises are chocolate eggs with a toy inside!}

Oh, and there, bathrooms are called "washrooms".  My aunt says that is purely Canadian.  :)  I loved Canada, though, and had a stupendous time... and vacation!

I'm glad you had a fun trip R~D~! :) Thanks for posting the picture, how awesome! I love dolphins too. :) Kinder-surprises sound ultra cool! I wonder why they're illegal...? I would love to go to Canada someday, I bet we will before this year is up! Ha, ha, I want to go everywhere! ;)

I hope you get to Canada!  It's pretty fun up there! Hee hee, kinder-surprises probably make all little kids happy.... but I think they're awesome, too!  haha!  I think they're illegal because the toy inside is a choking hazard, but I'm not sure.  Yeah, I would love to post more pictures, but like I said, I didn't have my camera.  :(  Thanks for posting on this thread, Kimmie.  I do appreciate it.  It doesn't seem like anyone else cares.  :(  I hate when that happens.

Haha, spamboy says "mona".

Yeah, it would be really, really awesome if we go to Canada! If we do, I'll let you know. :) Hmmmm......I wish kinder surprises weren't illegal, they sound cool! Kind of like wonder balls; have you heard of those? I think they stopped making them, but they were chocolate balls that had hard candy inside and a sticker. My siblings and I loved getting them when we were little, I wonder what happened to them! :) Too bad you didn't have your camera. :/ Well, maybe you could take some random pictures and post them on CB anyway! ;) I love seeing other buggies pictures, I love seeing the techniques that people use! :) No problem, it's an awesome thread! I remember that when I made my NYC thread, you were the first buggie to post on it, and that made me very happy. :) I think that everybuggy does care, they just haven't seen this thread yet; it tends to hide down at the bottom. :) Hey, we'll be going to WA in a few weeks, I'm really excited! I've been there, but don't remember anything about it. Wouldn't it be awesome if we ran into each other?! Well, we wouldn't know it if we did since we don't know what we look like....it's still cool though! ;)

(Ha, ha, that's funny about Spamboy! Right now he says....dbgb. That's not very interesting.... ;) )

Canada? Congratulations! That sounds awesome!

Also 96 degrees? Insane?! Haha... You have no idea what truly insane weather feels like. Do yourself a favor and don't move near Houston... Though it's getting a bit colder now, I think...

Kinder Surprises are illegal? *is shocked* I love KSs. Oh, *raises hand* and I live in Canada! Did you see the dolphins at Marine Land? I've only been there once when I was little. And were you in the city or the country? There's a ranch near Kelso Lake and I went on a hayride and they had a beautiful scenery. Actually, even the Kelso Conservation Area has pretty nice scenery. (figures that they have a photography camp there) I'm glad that you had fun! (Were you in Ontario BTW? I might have seen you.)

@Ima: ha, I don't think I'll ever be able to live in Texas.  :)

@Olive: Yay, Canadian! No, we didn't go to Marine Land.  We stayed at my Aunt's near Vancouver and went to the Vancouver Aquarium.  Too bad I probably didn't see you!!

@Kimmie: Aw, thanks.  I didn't mean to sound pathetic... but I'm glad you posted! Well, I hope to see you some time in 2 weeks, without even knowing it's you!  Well, if I just happen to see triplets hopping out of an RV, I'll wave.  ;)

R~D~: Ooh, I've never been to Vancouver *feels unCanadian*. And about the 96 degrees thing, was that Fahrenheit or Celcius? (if it were celcius, you could probably bake bacon on the sidewalk) ;-)

Oh, hee hee, definitely Fahrenheit!  I forgot Canadians say Celsius instead.  My aunt taught me that to get Fahrenheit, you double the number and add thirty.  It was funny for me when on the news it said, "Vancouver is 19 degrees..." I was like, wow, below freezing!  :)  Celsius makes more sense, though.
