Happy belated twelfth birthday!  You are now twelve years and one day old!  I think!  364 more days!  Unless I am mixing up the leap years...  Anyway, happy twelve years and one day day!  Here is pie: [}~ [}~ [}~ [}~ [}~ [}~ [}~  [}~ [}~ [}~ [}~ [}~ .      The period is a portion of the pie for the day.  And pi!  The short pie because I do not feel liike searching in the folds of my brain for the other numbers that come after 3.14... Anyway, pi: 3.14

Thank you, everyone!

@ Leaf: Another tardigrade lover! YAY! I've always wished I had someone to whom I could rant about them and not bore them to death (erm, grammar? I tried to fix it with the 'whom,' but I'm not really paying attention to sentence structure at the moment, and it sounds awkward enough without my imposing all those rules upon it.), so I'm excited! I was Googling 'tardigrade' and actually found a free monthly online magazine about them, too, as the 2nd result, with 97 issues! I'm reading all of them, and I'm somewhere in the middle... Because I'm so obsessed I'm reading it straight through from the beginning. I actually plan to just get a microscope out and look at some soon; they're supposed to be big enough to be somewhat visible even with a toy microscope (if a bit blurry), and mine isn't a toy (but it isn't particularly good quality either... Still!). Moss apparently is like a jungle when viewed microscopically, so they'd be hard to see if you just gathered moss, where they're most likely to be found, so I'm getting some from the roof gutter instead (where they fall in the rain)! And I'll get to see them! And—whoa. Sorry, that was a sudden, mass and grammatically erroneous onslaught of info, so I'll try to fix a few things (it's how it is because I was getting excited), not that it'll be much help... *reads it over and grins* Wow... I suppose I'm a bit... overobsessive? I sound like all that was said in a breath, without thinking... and it sort of was.... But it wasn't said... But still...

*shrug* You tolerate our obsessions, we'll tolerate yours. And sorry it's so late, but -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I'm wishing you a fantastical year, full of books and, er, moss creatures and other good things. (And now get back to work on your JulNo!)

Wow!  A mag for tardigrades!  This is so cool!  I know a fair amount about these cute, yet really strong and amazing creatures but I'd be more than willing to learn more!  Now that I've googled 'tardigrade' and found the website you found, I realized that I visited this site when doing research for the project I might have done on tardigrades.  Nice find and thanks for letting me know!  It's funny, I was watching videos of cute tardigrades walking around and my dad saw me squealing with delight and ooh-ing and ahh-ing over this creature (for lack of a better word) that is virtually unknown to humans (and as the magazine says, "just have a try and ask your neighbour" xD).  Tell me if you are successful in finding one to put in your microscope.  That sounds like a fantastic endeavor - something well worth putting time towards!  Maybe we should make a wonderful, separate thread for this discussion... ;)
