A Hamster Story. About Hamsters.

Most of you know that I have a hamster named Lou. And that I adore her. And that she is the most perfect being ever created. Almost. 

What you do not yet know it that I have another hamster named Moses. 

There! Now you know it! Wasn't that interesting?

My dad found Moses in the flowerbed (hence the name) and caught her in a shoebox. As none of the neighbors had lost a hammy, I took her, named her Moses, and discovered that she . . . . was a she. In that order. 

Moses is now named Moses Mae. 

So, at the tender age of . . . well . . . a tender age (you can look at the bottom if you really need to know), I am a foster parent! And, like many foster parents, I am watching my first "child" experience an acute case of sibling rivalry. 

That was all to warn you that if I squee about Mo or complain about Lou sulking or anything of that sort, I'm not going mad. I'm just beautifully happy because Lou is awesome, and Mo is doubly awesome. Even if (or perhaps especially because) she's missing a toe.
