What sports do

What sports do everybuggy play?????????  I play basketball, and golf.  I also swim, (I used to, and I'm going to again this winter so...) and might do soccer this coming school year.  Anyway I just want to know what sports everybuggy plays (does) and what sports they like.  I have to go now. Bye! :D  :D  :D   :D

I play (and love) soccer. In fact, I just went to the first practice for the local high school team! It isn't really soccer, yet, just mostly conditioning. :P Oh, and I'm also pretty good at golf on Wii Sports, and canoing on Wii Sports Resort, but I don't think that those really count. ;)

Are you following the world cup? I am a huge soccer fan, but unfortunately I had to stop playing when I was 12 due to health problems, and I started horseback riding instead. I still watch soccer, though! I was rooting for Ivory Coast - then Ghana...now I'm just sad! (I think Germany's going to win, though.) -Admin

Poor Admin.  :(   It stinks having your favorite teams loose.  I don't follow the World Cup, but it started on my birthday!

Sorry, but I have to say I hate most sports. This can get a bit awkward, because my dad is probably one of the most sports-obsessed people I know, and keeps trying to interest me, but it doesn't work. Ever. I swim, though! Even in winter (which isn't actually hard due to it short length and mildness)! I quit PE at school in order to swim; I was delighted to learn that I could do that in middle school. I did always hate PE... Not that even I'm willing (or able, what with thunderstorms occurring every once in a while) to swim for 5 hours per week, but I can always make up for that with yoga... Anyway, I'll quit and get back to the point. Sorry. I like horse-back-riding in addition to swimming, but I can't do that often. Otherwise, I'm completely in the dark about everything—I wasn't even sure whether the World Cup had started yet! (Sorry about the teams and who won, though, Admin). But I don't mind not knowing things; whenever I learn something, it bores me, anyway. Like basketball; we had to learn it in elementary PE. The sport of basketball I consider it to be monotonous and excessively loud (wording was a book reference, because I can't help but slip them everywhere), with emphasis on the 'monotonous' bit. I've always thought most sports boring, and a few also unnecessarily (and foolishly) dangerous. Sorry for the rant; feel free to resume discussing the sports you love. I just felt like venting my boredom (not to mention annoyance at having to read sports-related stories for school) somewhere, so I did.

Speaking of having to read sports-related texts for school, I did! It was about a baseball player named Leroy "Satchel" Paige. Aside from my utter lack of understanding what most of it was trying to say (*does not know baseball terms*), I don't think it's a very creative nickname. Not to criticize the person who thought of it; it's just... boring. And it means nothing; says nothing, except that he was seen carrying bags. *sigh*

I'm going to play basketball and vollyball this year. I'll also do track and MAYBE cross country if my math grade stays up. Then I have dance(tap jazz ballet technique and pointe) I also take  lyrical but I'll drop it this fall for a different dance class by a different teacher. Do you consider dance a sport?????

I think it's more a matter of do U consider it a sport. If you think it's a sport, then so be it. Nothing can really be classified, like if u were saying something like, "well since you don't do as much running in tennis as u do in soccer, it's not a sport." But anyway yeah I thinks it a sport, since u wanted 2 kno.

Saturday, July 31, 2010, is National Dance Day!

I think we have lots in common, Clair. My parents say I can play the pennywhistle, a REALLY pretty sounding whistle, if I work on my math and everything w/ effort is good, and if I get good grades and they stay that way. My grades weren't all the best thing past school year, that's 4 sure!

Yes, Dancing is a sport!  I forgot to mention that I occasionally do Yoga, and I love it.  My friends did a class with me at my neighbor's house, and they hated it, because they thought it made them sore.  I felt good afterwards!  I'm going to ask my mom to sign me up for an actual class though.

Oh, yoga! I forgot to mention it, but I take a class. I like yoga. I'm afraid I might have to quit the class, though, because it's mostly 6-year-olds and it gets tiring.

Figure skating and soccer. I'm more dedicated to soccer, though. (I watched almost every game during the World Cup.)

Oooh, I'm a big figure skating fan, Kit Kat. I can't do anything very fancy, but I love watching competitions especially--on TV or  in person! The sports I do are swimming and cross-country skiing and hiking (if that counts).
