Oh my gosh,
Oh my gosh, our church was BROKEN INTO! And the police think it was an
inside job, because the person used a key! There were 2 safes, one with
all the Sacramental records in it, the other with all the Scrip (gift
cards to places like King Soopers-we sell them after church) cards and
checks. They were both stolen! And they were BOLTED TO THE GROUND! So
someone had to have taken some time to do it. And it happened Monday
night! AND, my mom had bought some of the cards on Friday, so her check
was one of the ones that got stolen! So my mom had to basically cancel
our checking account and get a new one, and new checks, because
otherwise that person would've had a few hundred dollars from us, and
they could've stolen our identity! Please pray for everyone in our
church, especially the person who did it. The police have a few leads,
but it could take a while before they find who it was. So, again, please pray for us! We need it!

Oh my gosh, Elizabeth! That's absolutely horrible! I can't believe someone would do that. *shakes head* I'm very sorry for you and everyone in your church. I hope all ends well! And I'm really sorry for sending this thread to the bottom. I'll try to send it up to the top as soon as possible!

*shakes head* That is sort of sick that somebody'd break into a *church* of all places. I hope they catch the guy. I'll be thinking of you and the other members of the parish, Elizabeth.

That's so mean! It makes me mad too, that someone would do that. Because churches are such nice places! I don't go to church, only a Jewish Sunday school, but I've been to a few of my friends churches and it was really peaceful! I hope they find whoever did it.

OMJ! That's horrible! And I can't believe anyone from your church (or anyone's matter of fact) would do something like that. I'll pray and ask others to do the same. Best wishes for you and your church!

I know, that's the absolute WORST part about it all. I know a lot of people in my church, so it might be someone I know! My mom said that she doesn't like to look around having to think of everyone as possibly guilty, but you really can't trust anyone. =(
