My first name means "noble" or "bright". My sister has called my Aya ever since she was born because she couldn't pronounce Allison as a baby. I've always thought it was just a nonsense name, but I recently found out that it means "bird; fly swiftly" in Japanese. I love going to baby name websites and searching all sorts of things. Does anybody else do that?
