Newbie alert. Ello, all! My name is Ally. I'm not entirely sure how to work this "Submit Chatterbox Post" whatnot, so if this ends up in the wrong place, my apologies. It was meant to be in Down to Earth... I think...
Anyway! I love love love reading and writing and think I'm much wittier than I actually am. ;) (As evidenced by that last bit there.) I was introduced to this lovely Chatterbox thingamajig by my also lovely friend, who goes by Leaf on here, and so far it's definitely living up to what I expected. :) I'm addicted to Diet Coke (not that you needed to know that, but while I was on the whole about-me subject I figured I'd throw that in) and I also do Nanowrimo in November.
So. Where do I go from here? I really hope this ends up in DtE and not in, like, BAB or something (see, I've got all the lingo down pat. Doesn't that make me seem so much cooler? Don't answer that).

I have double-jointed elbows too! I'm Emilie(y) and normally I don't show up on Hi I'm New threads, but when I saw that about double-jointed elbows...! Anyway I'm one of the oldest (not in age but as opposed to newest) people on the CB. I like writing and stuff, and am very opinionated, (as other oldies may know) but most of the time you could say I'm relatively sane. :D

Admin, I had no idea you play the violin, hike, cross-country ski, and watch figure skating (everything I do). That's amazing!!! I have orchestra rehearsal today, and my final concert is next week!
And, Smile, for some reason, I have not picked up on your obsession with Tokyo, but I just wanted to let you know that my mom just came back from there with tons of pictures and story (including the one where she was the only person in her group of people there for work with yen and had to pay for everything....).

Hello Ally! I think everyone explained CB already, so I'll just say hi. And Alexa's says Hi too! (She was at some sort of SUPER-LONG soccer tournament thingy for those of you who didn't know where she was.) BTW, Alexa est ma tellement bon amis. (French for is my very good friend) Laterz! (yeah, it's a z. Which makes us kewl) :-)

Just about all of us are, if I am permitted to use her words in this 1 particular instance, 'insane bibliophiles.' Those who aren't don't last very long. Luckily, though, I'm fairly sure that you are, which is good. We're glad to have you here! And, as everyone has said, you'll definitely enjoy it here. I can tell you're that kind of person. ;)

Smile, I know what you mean about clear, but it can also be all of the horrible colors, so I prefer green myself. Every shade.
